    Playing motion games?

This is for all you hardcore gamers out there who are to lazy to go to the gym. I was wondering if things like the kinect would help you loose weight. Someone should try it for 1-2 hours a day and see if it effects anything.

I mean I have played with those a little bit and it helped. You could always give it a shot, see if it works. But don't take my word for it because I worked very hard on it to get that way.

Although excersise is a big factor in weight loss and the kinext is good for this, your diet is still the main factor.

You have to make sure your eating right.
Also some people are more than comfortable doing just 30minute workouts a day

    Playing motion games?

Motion games are a great idea in terms of marketing to retards, a terrible idea in terms of losing weight. Ignoring the dietary aspects of weight loss motion games are essentially light cardio. You could trade a couple hours of playing these bull shit games for a short, sharp 30 min or so cardio session and get on with the things you really want to do. The opportunity cost of the time is just way too large to make it viable. There's also going to the gym which offers weights and compound movements which is something motion games can't provide.

Ofcourse it helps. Just make sure you play seriously and move a lot :D
But cardio would be better even if you don't do that for as long as you play
