Random Question do I qualify?

Ok so basically I'm wondering IF I qualify for the work permit that my employer has applied for, it its a complicated process and I will have to show the immigration officer I qualify for what the job was advertised for. The job was advertised as 2-3 years hands on experience.

So this is what Ive got.

Completed a 3 year plumber course (roughly 70% of the time spent on internships/maintaining and fixing piping systems in our school, the other 30% is theoretical shit.

And got about 18 months of work experience (summer job, internships, some work after school) so my question is do I qualify for what my employer has sent the application for?

Shouldn't you just contact whoever listed the job? Nobody is going to know what they define as hands on experience except them

 

Exactly as Roary said, it's so subjective but at the end of the day it can't hurt giving it a go

 

Should be fine imo, just round up. Also, what does theoretical plumbing entail?

 

How to read blueprints and how to draw them for the most part, however there's quite a lot that we needed to know about certain standars, how much water you should be getting/ the size of your heating tank, checking that the air you got in your ventilation system is clean enough/what to do etc...the list goes on a lot of that stuff
