Site Problems Thread

im still having problems with this..

 

I'm getting this error on almost every page.

Fatal error: Unable to connect to memcache server in /includes/class_datastore.php on line 283

Refreshing it 3 times makes it go away until I try to load another page.

Seems to be fine now. Problem didn't last very long. Weird.

 

Problem #1:

Problem #2:

The look of Sythe.org on my ipad just changed. Its now WAYYYY BIGGER (really zoomed in). Is it a recent update? 20 min ago, the site was way smaller on my ipad and in my opinion, it was better because I could actually see all the site without scrolling over and over. Now its just too big....

As you can see, I cant even see a full section :/ I have to scroll...

PS: maybe the update was for mobile in general and it looks good on iPhones.. but on iPad, it was better before

 

Problem #1 is happening for me also.
It's happening to everyone else too, whoever I've asked said the same.

 

Responding to a quoted message and the white text box isn't appearing.

 

Problem #3:

Cant read titles on mobile. They are too big lol.

EDIT: nvm. The site just got back with problem 2 and 3. Ill just wait till tomorrow morning to post any update cause it seems you guys are experimenting with the mobile site

 

Join date, referrals and postcount are all not visible on mobile.
The text is, but the numbers aren't
Also ranks don't show up if users have a lot of miniranks, for example I could see Farcast' ranks, but not yours.

I really, really like the way the homepage looks on mobile now though!

 

I have the same problems.

The look of Sythe.org is better now. Its not as zoomed in as it was. Thank you.

I still find it a bit too zoomed in though but I guess its because I need to get used to it.

Edit: the "zoom" is perfect if the screen of my ipad is vertical. However, its when I turn it to be horizontal that its too big.

Now, concerning the advertisment banners, the ones at the top of the home page are the right size but I think the bottom ones are streched. They should be the same size as the ones on top?

 

Staff ranks should at least be visible I think
Is there any way to fix the "posts/threads made by" links on profiles that dont work on mobile for some reason?

Other than taking a bit of getting used to it's an improvement

 

Quick reply box has changed to the white one (I use the other option on forum options). Also, the drop down banners along the stop seem to have disappeared.

 

Idk if its considered a problem or not but... on mobile..

Anybody else having issues with quoting messages? No text box appears on the next page.

 

The quote function is a bit broken yes, you can use it by scrolling to the right

 

Sometimes when going to posts created by user, it says something like oops can't find that.
