    Requesting a pardon - Repodle

Hello - thank-you for reading this post. I have previously attempted an unban request around six months ago but only got a couple of people supporting. Hopefully this time I can get a few more and can continue trading here on Sythe again.

    What Happened:

A friend I introduced to this site was scammed by "DragonDarkness". He was selling an account, though the account was later recovered, a few decent items were taken, including a blue h'ween mask.

My friend made absolutely no appeal to get him banned as he'd only just joined, didn't track anything between the deal and ultimately lost it at his own stupid risk.

Around 10 days later there was a post from DragonDarkness selling a Blue H'ween on the items section. Seeing as I had vouches and felt directly responsible for the loss of my friends items, I vowed to get him atleast his H'ween mask back, because to be honest, I thought a scammer wouldn't have the grounds to report somebody else for scamming them - I was wrong.

I took the mask of DragonDarkness and I didn't pay. Though I KNEW he'd stolen the mask from my friend. I know the guy IRL and what would he gain from lying?

Annoyingly, at this point I would fully reimburse DragonDarkness for the face value of the mask at the time (in $)... Just to gain my Sythe account back. I cannot physically do this as the guy is never online on MSN, nor is he able to access his Sythe account for me to contact him, as he is now banned.

I'm really stuck on what to do here. I really dont want to create a new account and start again because it wouldn't be right using Sythe under a different name. I wish to potentially start a couple of free services, trade gold, and sell account upgrades to regain market trust.

I'm aware that even in the event of an unban I'd have a TwC next to my name - which would be something I'd happily accept as a challenge to prove my genuine desire to get back to legitimate trading.

I will openly admit that I know I was wrong to handle the situation how I did. Taking matters into my own hands was the incorrect thing to do, but at the time of either allowing nothing to happen or atleast take a risk and help a friend out, I thought taking the honorable option would serve best, even though if I didn't my friend would probably have forgotten all about it by now (sad but true).

Anyway that's all I really have. Thanks for the time reading this guys, really really hope I can get another chance here - it would mean so much to me.

Denied, try again in 6 months. I suggest reading our reasons for not supporting and changing the way you interact with our site accordingly.
