Anyone been able to lift an MP limit?

My paypal account lost its ability to redeem MPs today for some reason. Has anyone had luck emailing paypal or green dot to get their limit lifted?

 

I ran into the same problem a few months ago. Several emails and a couple phone calls later, and I'm still limited. They never outright said it is permanent, but its looking that way

 

I've been having weird experienced with MP. Redeemed one that I bought in the store for $50 with no issues. Next one I tried a $100 MP for a customer and it told me that it couldn't verify my identity. Got another personal MP at the store assuming if it didn't work I could have someone else redeem it. It was for $180. Went through redeeming it and filling out my information, when I hit next it said "Your refund has been sent in the mail, expect it to come in 5-10 days" with no explanation. It wasn't a refund request, and it didn't give me an option on whether or not I wanted it refunded.

Very odd, I haven't sent them emails about it (I'll just cash my check when it comes). I guess its a good thing, I can know to avoid them. When money + bad customer service is involved it can be really aggravating.

 

From what I've seen most of the time people get blocked from moneypak because they are redeeming mp's and withdrawing into their bank. Basically to green dot it looks like you're paying for a moneypak with cash then withdrawing it into your bank, so they suspect you of money laundering.

Never heard of anyone getting unblocked sadly

 

Haven't withdrawn in over a year. Gf me.
