Advanced Warfare : You got it?

I got the game yesterday. I was hesitant because I hated ghost from all my heart but man ... AW is actually awesome. I like the new way to play. Its actually really fun to be able to do these kind of movements. I find the game different and more "active" (theres lot less campers since everyone needs to go everywhere to survive). I know lot of u guys hated some things that Activision did but in my opinion, This COD game feels different compared to other cod games. Even if theres some things they could improve, I think they ve done a pretty good job so far for AW.

You got it? Whats your opinion?

i was always a call of duty fan but this game kinda got me at a wrong time i was going to get it but it looks very fun ill be trying to get it i use to play competitively but i'm afraid of getting ddosed now. it looks super fun and ill be a christmas noob

 

Ive always been a call of duty player, but this one is really dissapointing in my eyes , i just find they are trying to compete or beat other games that are released within the same year, Very Similar mechanics to Titan fall with the basic layout/game style as the other call of duty's

 

Wish I could get it :/, recently moved far away and coudn't take my playstation with me so now would have to buy a new console again just to get it :/

 

I heard it's practically a mix between Titanfall, old CoD, and Halo. Not worth my time TBH.

 

Haven't gotten it yet but I plan to soon. I've been watching some Twitch streams of the race to max prestige and the gameplay looks very fluid. I for one don't mind how CODs are so similar, they started out with a solid game and it continues to be solid.

Just curious, are you afraid of being DDoSd in this version of COD due to some specific change in how they did their servers or is getting DDoSd a personal problem to you?

 

I enjoy it allot. I can't wait till they add dedicated severs on PC

 

My opinion, its better than ghosts. At first I liked the movement because it made games very fast paced, but now its a win/lose feature.
The maps are designed so people cannot camp. Every building/room has multiple entrances which was a good idea but ends in just constantly dying from behind. Especially since you can't hear footsteps, there's no way for an experienced player to navigate through the map and not be killed in a way that wasn't his fault. Exo movement also make very little noise, and when people aren't using blast suppressor they only show up on the map for a fraction of a second. Too chaotic, people landing on every side of you without making a sound/popping up from behind etc.

 

At first I hated it but it's growing on me as I get used to it. There's definitely a higher learning curve than any of the previous Call of Duty games.

Its gone too far into the titanfall/fictitious combat world for me. CoD4 was one of the best ever shooters and 5 was pretty good too. It's just not the same for me anymore and I wont be picking it up after ghosts.

 

COD4 was the greatest. I didn't like Ghosts so I'm not getting AW. I'm into more realistic shooters, like BF Hardline (when it's out), Rainbow Six, and GTAV (especially with 1st person).

 

yeah man, it was basic but not like lacking, it was a great depiction of genuine war at the time! I bought it as a shooter, I don't want to control rocket shooting robots and jet packs.

give me an MP5 and RPG any day of the week :nuts:

well i used to play bo2 league play a lot and when you get in masters its always people ddosing you, there's a certain website completely dedicated to ddosing legit players

 

It's alright. Nothing too wrong with it, but it's also not that great. I love the sniping though

 

Contrary to what most CoD series players are saying, I actually very much enjoy the game.

It doesn't have as much new stuff as the other ones do, and since it doesn't have Zombies the online has to be good.

I personally like the new Exo Suit and all the new upgrades you can get with it and all the customization within the game. 8/10

 

I thought about getting it, do you think it's worth it?

 

I showed this game to my 41 year old dad, I can hardly get the controller from him. he plays it non-stop

 

Got the game as a digital download in the advanced warfare xbox one bundle. Came as a 45gb download, its about 50% through and I'm excited to play it. Especially with all the Christmas noobs to feast on. From what I've seen of the online I'm impressed and just waiting on the damn download.
