Black Friday

What are you guys doing for Black Friday? Shopping online? Waiting in line for 3 hours? Staying home? For me I might order a new headset online. Besides that I'm grabbing some popcorn and watching people go crazy in malls.

 

Been thinking of buying new game, but meh idk

I remember 2 years ago someone died around my area, Black Friday isn't worth it

I will not be going anywhere as I hate the obnoxious crowds.

 

Trying to decide now what I will look for most, but I always tend to buy a bunch of shit online, usually more on Monday then Friday though.

 

Possibly buying my new gaming rig if anybody has the dealz.

 

That's a stupid reason not to go. Of course if you have the entire country doing ANYTHING there are bound to be accidents.

I'm going to go buy an xbox one advanced warfare bundle. Then on Monday I'm going to buy two new monitors online. I'll save a few hundred this way as they're things I was already going to buy.

Am I the only one who would actualy pay more just to shop in peace?
I dislike shopping in overal and if you add a massive mob then I'll just pass. #ShopOnlineAndPayLess

 

Yeah I am going to go shopping will probably just stock up on some xbox games to be honest.

 

Is black friday just a U.S thing? seriously never heard of it except on south park. relatively unheard of in the UK, i assumed it was like the new year sales here were all stock is a good bit cheaper.

 

Honestly it probably is the same thing for us we don't have a after new years sale. So our black Friday the day after Thanksgiving is probably equivalent.

 

Black Friday lawl... One time two years ago I went to States to see what the big deal is...

Over crowded smelly sweaty everyone fighting for stuff that's already cheap in general.

I would never again put myself in that position I hate crowds I would rather pay more and avoid all of that trouble although Canada already has great deals throughout the year on stuff.

Plus we have boxing day which is kinda like our black Friday 100 times less stress.

 

Does the US have boxing day as well or is that what the rest of the world does instead of black friday?

 

I have never heard of something called a boxing day in the US.

 

A dumb day in preparation for an even dumber holiday. Christmas is the worst. Nothing says I love you more than mass consumerism and arm wrestling an old lady for a TV that's on sale.

The fact Christmas is thought about before/immediately after Thanksgiving is over shows how easily people are influenced by objects.

Have skipped Christmas the past 3 years. Don't see that ever changing.

 

How cheap do the XB1 games get on Black Friday? I usually tell myself every year that I'm gonna camp out somewhere for shits and giggles but I never end up doing it. cba to deal with all that shit to save $20
