Of course, I should clarify, that the 90% drop was only on launch day (and further reduced sales through its first weekend).

WoW has since (more than) recovered, and is happily chugging along at larger volumes than it ever has this entire year.

Anyone interested in new Markets, WoW my not be such a bad short term project. Just find a server with a traditionally high population and just concentrate there if you do production. Or if you are into re-sales, then just pay attention to certain servers. There are always players that sell well below market value (especially in bulk) and make for great turn around if playing the market is your fancy.
