I bought a few things like a saradomin coif and ancient chaps for 1gp each and will upload them soon.

 

I remember selling an asc bow for 300m when it was worth 220m, dat was a good win

 

Sold a Hexcrest last night for 1.2m when they're in the GE for like 400k

 

Old Merching Pics from my loved (banned) Main Account. I made 1 Billion RSGP with flipping/merching Drygores/Phats.

 

Haha some of those flips are sick, I can't imagine the look on that persons face when they bought that team cape for 500k.

Also it's funny how one of your GE history has you flipping a phat worth 1b+ and also selling 2 bread dough for 24gp lmfao

 

Yeah merching is my favourite thing on runescape I always do it when Im bored I didn't see the bread dough in the history lmao

 

Pre-GE I once bought a yellow phat for 140m and sold it not even 30 seconds later for 160m. Made like 10% of my net worth in under a minute . I also once bought a purple phat for 1m eyes of newt.

Post-GE I've sold a choc-ice for like 250k.

 

Bought a strange cup of tea for around 200gp and sold it back for 5m, just using an un-familiar item people put in big prices to try and buy it and it worked for me hahaha

 

This is so true, I tend to try to sell items at about 800% - 900% their total value if its mid price is 100k+ on the theory that people will offer 10x the fair amount out of impatience.

Stuff like obscure quest items are really good too, I've seen an image on zybez of someone selling one of the martinis from the grand tree for a green cash stack, can't remember how much.

 

Man I do this all the time, thank god one of you bad men haven't caught me out. I think the one and only time it happened, I ended up buying leather boots for 200k. I was pissed for about an hour.

 

I'm surprised it happened with leather boots, anything produced in mass while training is usually pretty safe. You need to be most careful around obscure items or items that can not be crafted/obtained on demand (such as treasure trail items).

Bought 7 green d'hide body (g) for 1k last night, selling for a few k under mid now which is like 70kea.

 

Never really tried merching, looking at some of these photos wish i did.

 

I remember when free trade came back I bought Arcane Spirit Shield from grand exchange for about 19M and it sold for around 32M few minutes later. Unfortunately I don't have a picture of this, there were also other items I managed to make some great profits but this is the only one I remember well.

 

100% believe you, when free trade returned prices went bat shit insane. Merchers made bank.

I don't have a picture, but for some reason I had like 10,000 climbing boots back in the day on a side account, when the price suddenly raised I made bank. I don't remember exactly how much but they went from a few gp or k to at least 20k+.

 

Don't have pics but I used to sell random shit that you can only buy from shops in the GE for insane prices like 1m that cost me 100gp and they would always sell overnight.

 

I had to buy a quick desert clothing set a while ago, bought the boots for 450k...

 

I bought a silk for 1m before lol
