Media Miniranks

Pretty straight-forward. AFAIK there are no miniranks for actively participating in any of the Media sections. Not sure if this has been suggested before so if it has please don't shoot the messenger just report/lock the thread.

Obviously these are just some icons I came up with really quickly after I got this idea so as not to lose it. Feel free to post your own suggestions. I was also considering the idea of not having miniranks for each individual section but for the Media section as a whole, which would most likely require some different icons.

Regardless, I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

Yeah, see, I don't get that. OT rank encompasses General Discussion, Media, and Technology, but every other OT section has its own specific ranks. Even SF. Why?

 

Activity

 

Media is active enough to have 3 sub forums but not miniranks?

 

Isnt miniranks created to bring activity? it wouldnt make sense to say that they wont have miniranks because not active enough :embar:

Im sure if theres a minirank, there will be some people willing to get active there to get it.

 

I'd support an overall mini-rank for all of media, not individual sub-sections

 

I'll drink to that, seems a bit more practical.

Would be great, loved the contests for the previous miniranks that were just implemented, and would get the section(s) more active imo. Why not

 

I agree with this, one is plenty when you compare it with similar subsections. A submission and voting is always a good way to do it, or just ask big rich which one he likes.
