Whats up with the random icons next to threads?

If you don't know what i'm talking about..




Some of them make sense to why they're there, but some are just random.

Can it appear on anyone's thread?

 

It is a feature given to donors. Whenever donors make a thread, they have options for what they want to have next to there thread, which is what you are seeing. If you want to use them yourself, when making a thread, just scroll down and they are near the bottom. There are many more than just those though, enjoy .

 

Those are thread icons.
Normal users have a few of them, donors have many more.
The yellow partyhat is admin only, and the rosette is for moderators.

It's there to make your thread stand out, or show what the thread is about
