He posted on a thread on how to get free runescape membership.. He never said he would check it out, and saying thanks is usually a way of gratification to show delight for helping others..

In order to read what the free runescape membership thread says, one has to post on it to unlock the content, like he already stated he has done in his own post. Considering that it was posted in the "leak" section it had to do with social engineering, (again, same reason people like folt are banned for!)

Last picture was an assumption that it revolved around blackhat activity, considering the rest of that section is either filled with rats or people looking to partner up phishing.
