First Signature

Hey guys, this is my first signature I have made using Cinema 4d R16 and Adobe Photoshop Cs6.

Just wondering what you guys think?

looks good for your first signature obviously, i like the cracked text, but it would be better with color added to it. make sure the background color is either transparent or sythe colors and try looking up some optical flare stuff.

I made the BG the color of sythe, but the flares I used dont have clear BG's so it kinda distorted the color, also same with the particles I added.

 

Select the layer and change the layer type to "lighten" you also might need to remove some of it with an eraser tool. look at the youtube video I linked to fix that.

 

Ooo, for a first time sig, that actually looks really good. Props to you m8, i'd even use that for my own sig if it had my name. Good job!

 

Honestly for a first sig it looks pretty damn good not gonna lie lmao.

The particles overlay I was using was distorting the BG color so i made it a clipping mask for only the letters.
I also resized the image.

 

Not bad for a first signature. Kinda looks like "DND" tho

Pretty good, i reckon if you made the background harder (more full colour) the DNO would stand out alot more/have a better effect.

 

Have you tried getting rid of the teal and just having the DNO stay?

If you just google "c4d text tutorial" you'll find plenty of tutorials on how to make c4d signatures.

@OP not bad for a first one, apart from using another font which was already mentioned before I'd give it a little bit more contrast.

 

Youtube is probably the best source for that kind of stuff. DNO probably used thrausi or nitroblast to get the cracked text, they are both plugins.

This kind of art is a well-known art. Its shatter-cracked text and a tutorial on cinema4d does exist, same letter work.

I believe you might added some other features, but as I can see it has the same crackered patterns 100%.
