Services Question

Hi,

I am currently doing OSRS/RS services. When I take on an order, I give the client a max completion date, let's say 2 weeks.

Let's say I didn't do ANYTHING on the client's account in 3 days as an example, but I still manage to finish the order in the 2 weeks like agreed.

I'm asking is this allowed? You can work on your own time? Because a lot of customers are like why you aint do nothing?

Why i'm asking is because I was talking to someone. This is just ONE example. The person took on an order, and gave the client 2 weeks. He didn't do anything for 2,3 days than all of a sudden Almighty Admin came and put his hammer down and told the person doing the service it's over and he has to give the client back his money? lol. Now how am I suppose to run a decent service business when somethhing like this could happen? I take on orders and give them a max completion date to where im comftorable. But if I don't do something for the first 2 days and the client cries how do I know some Almighty Admin won't come and stick the hammer on me?

 

Yeah this is allowed, no rule against it. To be honest I think that's a great idea on your end.

 

It'd probably be helpful if you linked the example that you're referring to, I'm sure there had to have been more of a compelling reason than that for the ban.

 

I don't see a problem if the client agrees to your terms of service.

 

The guy I was talking to said he was late 2 days on an order, than the guy posted scam report. Than another guy seen the report and had over a week left on his order, and wanted to pull out (no refunds tho lol) and the admin of this site just said either give the money back (some of the order was done) or be banned lol. Complete break of the rules, people with mod powers here abuse it well too often, i just dont want it to ruin my reputation

I guarantee there is more to the story than that, taking a banned members word isn't always the best idea.

 

Yeah, it's fine. I just tell people that my team does different amounts of training on different accounts every day depending on who's paying the most and time constraints, etc. (which is true). If they don't like it, they can go somewhere else. And tbh, if you're getting things done on time, they don't really have reason to complain. If they wanted it done quicker they could have paid more/agreed upon an earlier date... there's nothing more annoying than people who nag you every two hours about how much work has been done and if they can get on when you agreed that an order will be done in two weeks' time... sigh
