I Want your opinion on this setup

Im thinking about buying this setup, is it worth it?

All most exactly the same as mine , but ive got 16gb ram and bigger hard drive, but that is just nit picking, should run good man

Should run minesweeper just fine.

 

For 600USD, for me at least, it is not worth to be honest. 600USD could get you a better specs definitely.

 

I agree with what everyone else says. I feel like you should be able to get something better for $600. Two RAM slots bothers me, personally. I've gone past 8GB so I really needed that extra RAM. You should also compare AMD processors to Intel processors / check the specs on that particular CPU. It may not be what you want.

 

Also, it is better to pick the pieces instead of buying a pre-made computer.

For $600, a gt 610 has no place for involvement in that build. You can build much better. Don't let building scare you. Its a learning process, but its pretty easy.

If its $600 tops for your budget that is a bit tight, I would say. But I'll try to make something out.

Those are the builds you came up with Symph? :s The first one there is so much wrong, I don't even know where to begin. xD

The second one is better, but you could shave off a ton of money by swapping out that AIO Liquid with an air cooler. Unless he's overclocking his CPU there is really no need for it. At the price of the motherboard, you might as well upgrade to the Extreme4 and save the extra $10... Or at least the Extreme3 R2.0 which has the $35.00 MIR on it right now (it's $60 vs $100). That would put it around $600 with aftermarket air cooler if I'm correct.

 

Enlighten me with your build replacing my first build

 

First piece is the CPU Cooler. Again, unless he is doing drastic overclocking there is absolutely no need for it.

The SSD you chose is expensive/GB, there are far better options in the price range (or drop price range and go for something else in that range).

The Video Card, there are far better deals to be had - the GTX 760 is a very limited card. For the same price, you can easily get a better card - at least in my opinion.

-Add another video card
-Add a SSD
-Add another couple sticks of RAM
-Add watercooling and OC the CPU
