Should i Drop? Should i stay?

Ok .. I'm having hard time deciding if i should Drop my English class because my professor is being a dick and assigning essay after an essay..

The 2nd Essay's Rough Draft was due on 19th .. and he did a review to make sure its good for the final
Final Is due on the 25th

On 19th he also assigned a Quiz And the Essay #3 the last one for the fall semester the rough draft is supposed to be 5-7 pages long and it is ALSO DUE SATURDAY

hmm a Quiz,Final Draft,Rough Draft (5-7pages)

*Please note i am taking 6 classes.


Shall i Yolo and stay ? or Shall i drop the class?

Anyone that has experienced this and who studies at a University please provide me with an answer

 

you should also quit your job when your boss gives you too much work to do all of a sudden

Job Essay um 2 different things not to be rude or anything but ill take your advice..

If it was a job well i don't think i will be getting a job like that once I'm done with Uni ....

 

He's saying when something gets hard, it doesn't mean you should quit

 

And my friend didn't think he would be taking on 3 employee's jobs temporarily. Difference is he didn't even consider quitting. "yolo and stay" does explain a lot.

I see this a lot, and it isn't really a good comparison.

You're paying for your degree, Chad. Don't be afraid to replace any and all classes that you don't like with ones that you do (as long as they aren't required, of course.) I've done it a number of times myself. Most college students will.

 

hmm well your right but it is required for graduation.. hmm i wish they added more info for the professor on ratemyprofessor.com

 

if it's required why are you even asking this question then

nut up and do it instead of complaining

If you're dropping a class by basing it on what you were given in a week, well that just shows your hasty decision making without actually trying or thinking it through. Which I'm not surprised when he says his professor is being a dick.

Given his mind set with the quote "yolo and stay", and posting it in the SF, he doesn't even sound like a serious student. Yes, he can drop it, but that would just worsen his mindset.

 

If it's required then you don't have a choice. See if it's offered by another professor.

 

see i believe the professors act very good till the full refund date is passed.. after that they start acting like dicks..

And i have a good grade in the class but the work load is like No .. The only reason i picked this guy is because the one i was going to that had 5/5 rating very chill guy and basically w/e u want from a professor .. he shows it
The class was full and i was on waiting list and i wasn't able to get in on time ...
So i picked this dicky professor till someone hopefully drops out of the previous class i signed up for but none did so i continued.

 

Why six courses a semester? Sounds like a waste of time.

 

you're going to have to take it again eventually so it'd be the same deal. english classes are filled with essays.

Makes no sense to me lol. Why not just drop it and take it again next semester/year with a less difficult (whatever that means to you) professor?

 

Since you're already past what I presume to be the refund date & the no grade reported date, there's no reason to drop the class. You've already paid for the class and you're essentially stuck in it. Just have to tough it out and get the best grade you can. At this point dropping it = a zero and all that money gone. Might as well do it well enough to pass so you never have to repeat the course.
