What profitable markets are left?

I've always been around in the market and have had luck in finding a niche in which to make money.
It seems like nothing is left untapped.

I don't expect anyone to reveal any secrets of theirs but is there still room left in the market? What market barriers prevent me from entering such as capital or other things required?

 

One thing I would say is the competitive nature of the market where there are already a lot of traders in whichever market. Hence especially without a reputation it will be hard to establish urself

 

The markets are just as saturated as they were back in 2007 which is when 95% of current market users hadn't heard of this website.

Basically the only barriers are time and trust. You can solve the trust by becoming a large donor ($500+) as an investment in your account that you won't scam. The donor rank helps you get trades, but then obviously there's time. If you're still around in 5 years, you'll be successful.

 

Put time and work into whatever market you choose (Gold Swapping/selling/upgrades/services) and you can eventually work your way up the ranks.

Vouches are what you're after and then donations help attract customers.

There are other newer markets available for other games if you are interested in venturing outside of Runescape.

Look on the PA homepage, the top games are on the left side; wow, archage, wildstar, gw2, aion etc.

Imo, no game is as easy to rwt on as rs, but that by no means suggests it is not possible!

 

Archeage is super eZ.. Depending on how I do on IKoV I might switch to Archeage

 

This ^ You have to work really hard especially if you're new. Donate, get SVU, and be helpful wherever you can. Get a GFX designer and make your thread very professional.

 

Swapping somehow has a huge profit margin for how easy it is, and very little resources needed for startup.

 

it's time and effort. keep going no matter what the profit brings, if you are dedicated eventually you will faze into more and more gains

 

Check out league of legends. If you are good or your friends are good people can easily boost accounts and make $100-250 a weekend

 

I disagree, if you intend to make profit from trading then it's hard to justify wasting $500.

Support if you want to donate the site, if you want to make profit then just don't blow $500 and instead just focus on making trades and build your reputation and profits at the same time.

 

He doesn't mean you should donate $500 and become a SVU as soon as you make the decision that you want to profit from trading.

Secondly, the $500 that you would hypothetically be donating would not be a waste, if you intend to become a large-scale trader then adding that factor of legitimacy can increase your likelihood of getting trades.

I understand that a $500 donation is a big commitment but it is by no means a waste or a unwise decision if you plan on staying involved in the market of this forum.
