    Online Pharmacies

Hey guys, has anyone had any personal experiences with any online pharmacies that don't ask for prescriptions? I haven't done much research on them and while surfing through them most of them generally seem like scams.

And if you guys are curious, I'm not looking to abuse any hard drugs I'm just looking for some Accutane (acne's been flaring up this past month). I have taken it before under the supervision of a dermatologist and I'd personally rather not have to deal with all the appointment fees and/or the derm trying to prescribe me 3 more creams that I've all used before.

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks everyone

I mean, you can just not use the creams if you really don't want to. You're going to lose more time and money trying to find a legitimate online pharmacy than you are going to the doctor. Also, accutane is a nasty drug. I wouldn't want some third-party vendor selling me that sort of thing (or anything, for that matter).

Would not advise risking my personal health to an online entity. Health>Money.

Almost all of them are scams. A few years ago I found someone online who lived close to me that had accutane for sale. He said he bought from some online pharmacy that was taken down, and that he ordered extra. I could tell he wasn't lying because he had acne scars and was just a kid. He got really lucky finding it online though since they're almost always scams and could contain bad ingredients.

Accutane is great though. I tried every other treatment, which barely helped, but I never had acne again after accutane.

My advice, go to a dermatologist, especially if you have insurance. Tell your dermatologist that you want to take accutane if the things he prescribes first don't work. Most dermatologist would be fine with that, but if they're not find another dermatologist.

Thanks for the advice guys. Yeah after looking around a bit more it looks like I will have to go through the hassle of finding a derm who'll prescribe me accutane. The reason I'm resorting it this is because I've left my teen years behind and I'm really not trying to deal with acne as I get older.

Completely agree with you there nothing's ever worked for me besides accutane (and tanning, which is weird). I think the greatest thing about it is the fact that for the vast majority of people, it WILL work eventually. I've used stuff like tretinoin/adapalene/etc. for months without any significant improvement (sometimes it got worse several months in).

    Still open to more opinions!

You don't know what you're getting - acne could be the least of your concerns. I dont mean to sound cliché but always consult a professional about anything you take, an hour of your time tops is always worth being safe.
