Tinder - Your thoughts? Opinions?

I would like to call attention to one of the biggest apps that is sweeping the nation. This app is called Tinder for those who don't know. It's very simple, but it has so many uses. I would like to start off by saying that I, myself, was a tinder user. I found many local girls that I hit it off with. I dated one for 7 months. I have had a few hookups. I have a girlfriend right now which I did, infact, meet on tinder. The point of this thread isn't to talk about hookups or girlfriends, but it is to put a light on this app. What do yall think about it? What are your feelings towards it? Have you used it?

I want to know what the community feels about an app that, while it is online dating, is aimed for college kids to meet people of the opposite sex.

 

Was a gold mine AFAIK near its inception but since then its become watered down considerably with the huge amounts of white knights.

Of course balcony brah ain't help either. Yet to peep tinder but think I might give it a go once the cut is finished after exams.

 

All I've seen from it from my buddies are to meet girls that are down to 'get dirty'.

 

Online "dating" seems to always get a bad image, but using the internet really seems like the easiest way to meet a certain type of person due to the resources social media provides. The idea seems pretty cool to me.

 

Its good but also kinda creepy and filled with pervs. Weed your way through the fake tan and extensions and you might find a nice'un xD

 

Tinder is for noobs. Real men go out and get women.

 

Thought Tinder was just a place to find a fuck buddy.

 

There's alot of plastic looking women on my Tinder app haha!

 

it's the same as plenty of fish and any other dating website

 

Its a funny app, my friends use it to troll, I personally don't have it, but yeah its just for like finding women (or men) to do it with lol

 

Realistically, the larger the radius you're searching in; the more chance you have of finding a special someone. That's why online/app dating can be good - because you can interact with people you'd never normally meet due to the distance or perhaps just not venturing to their neck of the woods.

 

It's retarded. If you can't find a relationship/fuck buddy organically then I'm sorry.
