He quit the game for around 15 times and only makes 1 video a month (if even that) when an update comes out, then he'll quit and go back to spamming videos on "fitness" when he's only been going to the gym for a month.

Explain to me in any way shape or from how he deserves to be hired?
Taking 5B+ In shoutouts and selling them for irl money?

 

I think Sparc regardless of his past would be a good choice. Yes he's rwted a ton but anyone in his situation would have. He actually still gets excited about updates. New pking content is right up his alley. He enjoys higher level content like the recent corporal beast content that recently came out and he doesn't sugar coat shit and doesn't pretend to love updates if they weren't well thought out. He'd be a better voice for the community.

 

He's came out with 4 videos this month.

It's like advertising. Is something so wrong with advertising? It's quite smart honestly. Someone asks you "Hey I'm trying to get my channel going, can you gimme a shout out for X amount?" Don't blame him. Nothing wrong with that at all.

How is it quitting by posting videos on different topics? He's quit I think twice? I'm not sure on that so no idea on that.

He deserves to be hired because he is one of the most community involved. If you deny that, then it's pointless to argue with you. It's just like on Sythe, if you're the most community involved and are productive, you're going to get mod. It's how things work. Did he get caught for selling IRL? I didn't see anything on that.

The only reason He, ShitMac and Wildy Ownscammer are "community channels" is simply due to the fact that they can monetize 1 minute video clips.

You type as if he's an angel, and a random person offered him money for exposure. when in reality he spammed people who submitted clips for him to pay for shoutouts which he then sold for irl gp.

Hence how he could afford a house at 19 when he was only working part time as a stock keeper in a grocery.

 

Well said and I fully agree with you. Regardless of his RWT, he'd be a decent choice for mod because of his love for the game. I feel the same way about B0aty. Only issue I see with Sparc is he has slightly anger issues (as seen when he got cleaned and he basically told Mod Ronan to ban all staking hosts cause they RWT)

That's fucking hilarious. I had no idea Chris was that scummy rofl. I guess he deserves the chance nonetheless but something like that would be a huge turn off to me if I was dealing with him as a staff member.

Only problem with Chris is yeah it was 2 years ago but he also stopped being a good video maker around two years ago almost.

 

I don't agree with this hiring. Chris doesn't even play and his content is really lackluster. That's my opinion. Yes, he got e-fame but that alone shouldn't be enough. Most high profile players have done shady things. Boaty used to phish, keylog and all that stuff from what I have heard back in 2012. He changed and is doing great things as of right now. Sparc Mac sold tons in 2011.

You can't blame him, he got really lucky and cashed out during a period of time where players did not get banned for RWT. He is positive figure for the community today and entertains plenty of players. It's common knowledge that he RWTed but he is still relevant. People can look beyond past mistakes.

 

2 years ago, this was at his prime when he was actually "community involved" and made videos daily.

This was also at the time when he used to create e-drama in order to gain views.

Examples can be of

Archie Vs Sparc MAc
and Archie Vs Silentc0re.

Nowadays, he doesn't care about the game and only is in it for the money, hence why he only uploaded 22 rs videos (10 of them being less than 3 minutes long) in a whole year, compared to him uploading 3 video clips a day on his monetizing *cough* i mean "Community" channel.

Chris Archie does provide/run the biggest community channel for runescape (chrisarchieprods). I do agree with you that sparc mac is more active inside the game. They both deserve a shot at the position.

 

Ye, you're right. I might have gotten the timeframe wrong so I guess it took place before the firecape hype gave him e-fame. He was already somewhat popular when he had those trust trades.

It's just something I heard a while ago. Apparently he did it at a time where he was fan boying "no honor" stakers such as Channel 4 etc. Not that it matters, even if the phishing thing isn't true he still did things that were against the rules and ended up changing for the better.

 

Sparc mac live content is 300 times better. I don't even bother watching chrisarchie anymore it's just sparc mac clips 3 weeks after sparc mac showed them and if they aren't they're sub par clips just to make a video.

 

Basically all of chris's "community videos" are as follows:
"So "Insert RSN Here" was doing "Insert activity here" and this is what happens next(or)And then this happens."

 

Plenty of people hired by Jagex used to be RWTers. They can change just as I assume Chris will do.

I'm just defending the point that he'll do a good job as J-Mod and I believe he's done a good job to earn it.
