Is gold farming botting worth it?

I've contemplated setting up a gold farming system for a while now. But my question is, is it worth it? I have an OK gaming computer (specs below), and I have used bots many times before. But on an money viewpoint, is it worth it to buy a custom bot for Simba, which I'm assuming would be the best option for botting on RS3. I wouldn't need to buy membership and it has fairly low skill reqs. that I could get myself on new accounts easily. Is it worth it to run 5-8 bots at once, which is what I think my computer can handle. Do you suggest I use a server of some kind to host my farm on? Any insight is greatly appreciated!

what i suggest is buying a windows vpn from trenta host for only 13$, and running all you're bots on there as they will run 24.7

 

Ban Rate has increased a lot in the past few years, imo not worth it anymore.

 

Ban rate is ridiculous.

I'd stick with just botting 1-2 accounts on your own computer.

Goldfarming is tough now compared to in the past.

I see a lot of threads where people claim that they got banned after a few hours of botting, so imo it's not worth it anymore :huh:

 

Tried running a bot for mining. Was banned within a couple hours. Took frequent breaks also. I was also running the bot on old school if it makes a difference. Good luck.

 

If you're good at it, yes.

There are tons of people who goldfarms at various levels of operation successfully, you just have to know what you're doing.

Just takes research, experience, trial/error.

 

No, don't. I got 30 accounts banned in 1 week..

 

I met some guy who makes 70M/day. He is a script maker so it makes sense they know how to make undetectable scripts. So basically it all comes down to knowing the right people who can make you a private script and sell it to you for lets say 100m+. He told me that someone bought his farming script for 1B+. That is insane...

 

I just use a vpn and osrsbot from osrsbot.org and bot like 10-15 accounts at once. It works out well and I make decent money.

 

With the plummeting prices of gold and the high rate of bans bot farms really aren't that efficient anymore

 

Any account I've tried botting on got a ban within 48 hours, 24 if I tried running it 24/7.

Jagex has way better detection software now, it's just not worth it anymore.

 

Bans are ridiculous now, but as yohojo said if you know what you're doing then you'll be fine.

So you guys think that a privately made Simba script for RS3 would be the best way to not get banned? Keep in mind I expect my accounts to get banned, which is why I won't be using any membership on them(F2P bots). So if the script is good and I rotate which bot I use every day, I shouldnt run into TOO much trouble?

 

Unless you have a private method and script you'll get banned fast. They've really cracked down in the past year and a half. You won't last more than a day if you decide to gold farm on something like chickens for example.

 

Night lock I bot about 12-14 hrs a day sometimes I bot 24hrs I have 4 accounts that are near level 70 mining level.
