Off-Topic Post Count

Now I know the whole point of the off-topic section and certain other sections is to not increase post count, but I've always been curious as to how active certain people are when it comes to off-topic forums.

Would there be any way to only personally view how many posts you have in off-topic sections? This would be to avoid new people from spamming the SF and such to gain off-topic PC. I was just curious to know how much I've posted in OT (like SF, Donor Lounge, etc.)

Tell me what you think or any other related suggestions.

 

I think staff is able to see how many post count you got in each individual forum.

You can request to find out, but I don't think such a power should be given to normal members no matter if there are no repercussions to doing so.

 

I remember there was a forum that I used to use where you can see how many posts you have in each section of the forums.
I think it was a cool feature so I'm going to support this

 

I assume you don't mean OT sections, then, since the OT section does have postcount minus SF/SB

There was a thread about having total postcount viewable in the SF but nothing ever happened with it.

 

Why wouldn't you support such a "power"? You said it ourself, there are no repercussions. Mind elaborating as to your reasoning?

Like I said in my first point I was talking about SF, Donor Lounge (really curious about it cause of dice thread ) and such.

Maybe have it in the 'My Profile' interface somewhere on there.

 

Im curious as to how many posts ive made in SF myself.

Spent the bulk of my sythe time there.

Not necessarily wanting to have it public, but it would be interesting to know.

 

Yea I would love to know my posts in DL. XD was so active in it. (Im alot less active there now but still) When I post somewhere, its usually in there.

 

Any updates on this? SF and DL post counts would be pretty awesome to know at hand and not have to ask staff.

There was already a thread on this I think (or maybe it was just a mention on another thread) but I know I heard it somewhere in here, not in this thread. So maybe u can search for the threads to see what was their answer.

I don't see a problem with it you get post count for saying "bump" why shouldn't you for an equally dumb post.

Was already approved for spam forum posts only, just hasn't happened yet.

 

This was a year ago, when's it gonna be implemented?

 

Suggestions takes lot of time to happen.

PS : By including this ^, we should include ALL the posts counts from sandbox to dl to sf
