how much have you been trusted with? i.e gp/bitcoins/pp etc...

$1200 is the highest trusted vouch I think I have explicitly through Sythe, I did a $2500 trade with RSProd for my highest Sythe exclusive trade, Highest amount I MM'd for on Sythe was close to ~$500. The highest amount I've had the Asian bulk buyers trust me with is $500 MPs and paypal payments so far.

The stuff I was in charge of @ Dragon Dyce was me being trusted with 20+ people's jobs and in charge of operating a multi-million dollar volume annual business, so yeah.

Most at one time was a 2x blue partyhat pot ingame. On sythe I did a 6b middleman but in increments of 2b (easier than 2x max cash and some change) so I guess that's the max vouched.

 

On sythe I was trusted with a 50m 07, on powerbot I bought 1.9b Rs3 from someone and they went first in one trade.

13b eoc in a trust trade. At the time, I also owed ~8b to various hosts in dragon dyce (long story), so if I wanted to, I could have just logged off at that moment with 21b But of course I didn't. Gp was ~0.3 dollars per mil at the time.

Trade wise, I believe the highest I've been trusted with has been 7b eoc at ~0.4 dollars per mil.

Also, when I was banned on sythe I was trusted with 1.3b from Kenpen and a red phat from SmperFidelis, which was nice

I've had plenty of other 2-4b trades with the sellers/buyers going first to me, but nothing else from my vouch thread really stands out to me atm.

 

Rs3 was .28$-.4$/m at the time.

In real life every other week I'm trusted not to fuck up delicate equipment worth several thousand dollars a piece...

But if you're looking for something a bit more quantifiable, the most I've been trusted with is receiving payment before my coding commission was completed. Nothing major.

 

irl had to do some important stuff without any kind of error translating a book. If you meant sythe then like 3-4 btc sold to a irl friend of mine.

 

9B in one trade was the highest ive been trusted with, was helping someone transfer gp back in rs gambling days, as far as sythe trades go 1.7B in one trade was the most anyone has done without increments to me.

 

Real life I've been trusted with a good $1200 of weed.. Hahah.

Been trusted with $1000+ on probably 50+ occasions back when I was a RSGP trader, and a few occasions I was trusted with $2000-2500+.

It's an odd feeling, almost distressing knowing that if something goes terribly wrong, you're to blame.


In RL.... I dealt with Nuclear Launch Codes for 2 years.... The joys of the military...

 

Back in 2005-2006 (roughly, can't remember exactly) 2 Partyhat Sets and 2 Crackers (obviously not on Sythe). I did know the kid in real life, but I still totally could have stolen them if I wanted to. I have no idea how we both weren't banned for RWT, especially since I took it on a mule.

I also have no idea what the value of that was in 2005 or 2006, but it certainly had to be over 10 grand, probably way more.

Anyway, basically what was happening was a mutual acquaintance, or I guess in my friend's case his enemy, was trying to hack my friend. He succeeded, but my friends last line of defense, his bank pin, saved him. This hacker was hell-bent on stealing the items, already having the knowledge of how wealthy the account was. So basically, I assume, he decided to camp on the account for THREE whole days, not logging out once. Now, I could be wrong here, but back then I believe there was no 6 hour auto-log out or whatever it is now...so I guess if this kid had enough people at his house or whatever, he might have actually been able to stay logged in on Runescape for 3 whole days and then empty the account. The 3 day waiting period was the amount of time it would take for the bank pin to be deleted (my friend was lamenting the fact he hadn't made it 7 days lol).

I'm not really sure how he ended up getting booted off the account, but he did. I think he had been logged in for a full day because I remember having him added on a noob account that the hacker probably figured was some random friend (he had known my main account name, and had blocked it). I had quietly observed my friends account being logged in, ready to tell my friend when he logged off.

The password at this point was back in the control of my friend, but he was still logged in. To this day I don't know what forced him off, whether it was a mistake, lag-out, force log by Jagex (doesn't seem logical because I feel they would have banned the account for RWT later on), or if he just gave up. I highly doubt he gave up with 2x phat sets and 2x crackers on the line, I think what either happened was a lag-out, a mistake that led to a log-out, exhaustion getting the best of him, or a game update happening that kicked everyone off.

Anyway, and finally, my friend trades me all the stuff very quickly. He deals with continual hackings for a few weeks, and the stuff is just sitting on my mule. He finally gets his computer situated and secure, and I give him back the items.

Fast forward 5-7+ yrs, we are still friends and while he gave away his stuff to more than just me, I got a blue + two greens. So yeah, while I could have profited way more off of him by scamming him, I did the right thing and was rewarded for it later on down the road. His friendship was worth more to me than the money. Money is plentiful in life, good friends not so much.

Edit: Looking for pictures on my old laptop when I get home, I'm almost positive this happened in Summer of 06, which would have been between my 8th and 9th grade year, which seems accurate.

 

Id say around $800-1000 not on sythe but on the game.
