Why does Bodgan get to receive special treatment?

While I am not sure where I stand on this, I think, since we are referring to gold sellers as well, I will make a couple points.

If you're offering to buy .3/M from a gold seller, who clearly has a set price stated on the thread/website, then that's considered spam, while in bodgan's thread, all he had were simply autowins (from my knowledge). Now, I wouldn't say posting an offer of $1.50 would be spam, as that is what you value the miniranks to be priced at. Unfortunately, this thread has been taken and blown way out of proportion, just like a lot of things lately.

I guess there is two sides to the story - one being bodgan's and the staffs, and the other being the users who bid. To prevent this, bodgan can simply posting a starting price, current offer, and autowin, rather than just the autowin. It's unfortunate that this came into a big deal - hopefully it gets resolved sooner rather than later.

Edit: Also, in conclusion to my statement on the gold sellers price - gold has a relative value of: .35-.55, which is only a $.20 margin, compared the miniranks, which don't have a defined price but rather a valued price. A valued price is a price where the user thinks of it as monumental value (or, what they value it to be worth), but it varies upon the user. So user A could value some miniranks $50-80, while a user who doesn't see a purpose in holding or hoarding them values them at $2.00 a piece. It's the users discretion, so I don't think some spammers (who were low-balling) should be brought into this.

 

Spam forum users are known for trying to push boundaries when it comes to trolling outside the designated area (AKA SF.) You are all crying about the fact that Bogdan is trying to sell his miniranks that he purchased that formally held value the same as other virtual items. It's no different then selling a RS party hat for thousands of dollars - it's cosmetic, and useless.

The fact of the matter is that Bogdan has the right to have a sale thread that can be taken seriously and trolls on his thread will be deleted. If he chooses prices that are outrageous, that is his choice and his sales will reflect that.

This is simply just another spam forum bandwagon fad that will blow by.

 

we are just trying to save a newcomers life from spending money on a item that has no value to any of us.


fact of the matter is, bogdan thought he was going to be smart buying tons of miniranks then later resell them, but sadly no one cares about miniranks besides him, all of the prices posted is what we the majority value them as, yes he can ask what ever price he wants it is a free market, but i couldn't sleep at night knowing a newcomer got fucked over buying a pixel for $100 that he could have gotten for free....

It could be passed off as currency (stupid as that may be). I think all minirank related threads should be moved to the sandbox.

I'll accept that. Still I don't think he gets special treatment as much as he just whines and pms mods/admins nonstop until they delete/infract people for things that are quite trivial in nature.

His prices are a scam and I don't believe i've posted in more than one of his selling threads but people should be allowed to point that out.

 

If anyone else wants special treatment, message me to give me free miniranks.

Otherwise, cut out the spam thanks and follow the rules thanks.
