like a "caption this" comic series? showcasing the last winner and an un-captioned blank for the next?

 

what was your guys thoughts on my attempt at making IRL news a bit more entertaining while still being somewhat serious? couldn't think of how to make swatting entertaining though

Ahh a caption this would get stale pretty quick and not very creative. It could be something like current events or even just sythe related memes. Ex: this months could of been about The Fappening or something.

Remember the sythe memes thread? There was a LOT of funny shit posted there almost exclusively based on sythe current events. Lots of cancer but a fair bit of gold mixed in.

@JG it was pretty good. Swatting has been going on for years as a prank on 4chan, your article got me looking up vids of the livestreamers though lol.

I personally don't like the IRL news/runescape news. Even when its done well its just filler. Think of some new sections for it.


I do like sythe monthly in general though, I like when its released.

 

personally i find it difficult bc i can only write in the style that i enjoy reading, and about what i'm interested in (current affairs etc) - it's hard to write something you have no interest in without it just being a flop

I've offered to join the CDT and contribute multiple times, its a shame I got voted down even though I'm serious about helping out.

I think it has potential. I haven't read much of the newer editions, but I find it sometimes to be cluttered and convoluted. There needs to be more than just information. Humor adds another dimension to these newsletters. I don't mean to sound cocky, but the CDT need to look at some of the previous SytheMonthly editions and use them as examples. JohnK and I did things differently, but we got a much more positive response to our work

I do care, though. I appreciate the effort the CDT put into SytheMonthly.

Now that you've re-joined you should take a front seat in CnCing work done for sythe monthly - we set the deadline a bit earlier so things can be reworked to be delivered better?
