Thoughts on J-Bots

What a dumb idea.

 

A lot of games have similar systems. Eve allows you to train skills over time. Star Wars Galaxies did the same

 

I'd actually agree to a certain degree. First, not all skills should be bottable. Things like Agility, Fletching, Herblore, you know, bank standing type of things that you CANNOT gain money from. This way you can't just bot WCing or fishing overnight and make $$$. Also, I don't feel like you should be able to simply bot whenever you want. You know every time you skill or cook or something and it tells you how many seconds you have left before you're done? I feel like those seconds/minutes/hours should add up and you should be able to bot for the amount you have actually dedicated.

 

Let's just hope this doesn't happen but I don't put it past Jagex ether.

 

I think it's pretty clear that the OP in the RSOF is trolling. Even if he weren't I highly doubt this will ever happen since from the few pages I browsed through, a majority said no support, called the OP out on trolling, or joined in the trolling themselves.

 

I feel like for an extra fee Jagex would find a way to implement it like an AFK time where it does it automatically for like an hour or two. Jagex is always looking for a way to make money.
