Advice website, need everyones input!

Hey guys,

Tonight i was thinking, why not start my own little advice website? Everyone in this day in age has problems they need help with from marriage, relationships, friendship advice, etc. And I was wondering would any of you think that is a good idea? It would be based around the teen community really because they always are asking questions and are in need of advice as I am always. Thoughts please!

 

Sites like this do exist, but it could help people nonetheless.

Bring something creative to the market, and I'm sure you'll earn yourself a userbase.

 

These websites already exist with an established member base and thousands of suggested advices. You would have to invest a lot of money to get things started, and you probably won't profit for a while.

 

Feel free; it doesn't sound like you're in it for the profit, so if you just want to help people out, why not?

 

Go ahead and make one if you get people to view it, might actually start helping someone

 

There are a few sites like this, but I say what the hell, just do it! You can eventually add your own twist to it that sets it apart from others. I can definitely see people using it.

 

It'll cost you a bit to start it up. You'll need to promote it on Twitter and Facebook. On top of the website itself, you're probably looking at $700-$1000 for half-decent promotions on twitter and facebook. If you just plan to make a vbulletin site you'd just need that but if you want kinda like an ask.com anonymous thing you might have to pay someone to code it.

Seems like it could be a nice project
