Since when is this about what Folt did in the past? He was pardoned, he came back, he's been an active and valuable member of Sythe. This is about the utter bullshit reasoning behind his current ban. All of you are trying to give justification for his current ban by bringing up shit that has long been buried. That's not how it works.

It's obvious he didn't know how the process of it worked, or the magnitude of how wrong it was, hence him contacting a staff member.

I'm unaware of the Folt case simply because I don't want to sift through all of the bull shit, I will chime in on this beauty of a quote from Entrr though. So essentially it looks like he's sniped names from many and attempted to re-sell them and reported other names. He has come forward and said he will refund all those with evidence. From a rule standpoint, good on him, he's making an effort. From an ethical standpoint however, no doubt he has sniped and reported countless more names that shan't be refunded which is very wrong. In my opinion if he wanted to show he was truly sorry for his actions he should refund all of those that he knows he has scammed regardless if they have sufficient evidence. I don't think he is ready to do that unfortunately, heck I know I sure wasn't until a lot later down the track but it is what it is, he's been called out on his ongoing shady behavior and my one instance stayed in the shadows.

 

Every rare RSN once belonged to someone. Using the logic from around here, we might as well ban that entire market since sniping does happen and is how most of them get their names. If he refunded every name without proof of ownership, he'd be giving out all of his names for free.

 

Not to arbitrary people making claims, to who he has truly scammed. This is something that only Folt can reveal to the world. It's arbitrary though since the odds of it happening are next to none.
