Is there a way to crack/bypass the authenticator?

Hey there. I was at the airport the other day and was playing RS on my laptop. Some random guy came up to me and told me he used to play but recently quit and decided to give away his maxed account (sounds like a fantasy amirite?). He logged in on my laptop and let me play on it for a while. Gave me his username, password, bank pin, and told me he would try to get the authenticator off so I can use it in the future but he was going to India (sketchy) and the place he was going has bad internet for a while. The authenticator still hasn't been removed and it's been about a week.

TL;DR: I have the UN, pass, and bankpin to a maxed acct but there is an authenticator on it. Is there any way to bypass it?

I do NOT have any further information on the account. Just the UN, pass, and bankpin.

Nope, you can't gain access to the account, thats the authenticator doing its job.

I wish man. The acc't had 99 everything, all quests, all chaotics, all ports, etc.. It's really disappointing. I did however transfer 400m from the account onto mine Hopefully he wasn't trolling and will actually change the authenticator

 

you can lock the account and recover it will remove the jag if you recover the account actually

i only know this because of a personal encounter

 

Pretty sure op doesnt have enough info to recover the acc

 

No way to get past without actually recovering the account.
