RiD and the future of botting

I went through many of these threads and saw that ban rate is through the roof. I haven't played OS in about 7 months and the last time I played I went 60-99 WCing with no problems botting like 16+ hrs a day.

Now I've seen "RiD" mentioned. What is this?
What will it do for the future of botting: specifically for gold farming? That's what I'm interested in

I'm holding off on botting now since my IP is safe.

RiD does not like goldfarming, but that doesn't mean you can't make gold with his bots. That thread includes most if not all of the information you might need. You're welcome to post any questions.

 

The main goals of Genesis are, allow users to design and create their own bots in an easy and intuitive way, and use a human's biometric data to create as realistic a simulation of their activity as possible. Genesis takes care of the fine details, so all you need to do to create a bot is let Genesis watch you perform, and it works with practically any simple repetive task!

It is basically a mouse recorder, that will be able to do simple tasks, fleching, herblore... Nothing like runecrafting abyss or a auto fighter, it`s not the future of boting it`s the past.

 

You completely misunderstood how Genesis will work. You can expect to be able to bot every skill except dungeoneering upon release. It is not a mouse recorder whatsoever. The bot will generate your biometric data (e.g. Playing style, mouse movement style, habits, clicking preferences, and more) and will understand the bulk of the task at hand. It will pair the bulk of the task with your biometric style. The goal of this is to replicate the owner of the account.

 

This part:

It wont even be able to do all the simple tasks, maybe majority, but something like walking from A to B do C, not likely.

 

You're looking at one sentence. I have been following RiD's statements and updates regarding Genesis since he started development. He has specifically said that there will be great improvements to things like navigation and object tracking. The only skill he has said won't be possible within the first version will be Dungeoneering.

If you're going to try and make claims, make sure you do the research to back it up. He has confirmed that upon release, it will automatically include presets for all 17 bots that were available previously. This includes Pest Control, MTA, Divination, Agility, and everything else on the old list.

He has even said that looting specific items and doing banking runs will also definitely be possible. Again, you completely misunderstood the project.

Also, at least half of random events within OSRS will be supported upon release, and more solutions will be added later.

I don't know if I used the term "gold farming" correctly since I'm a noob lol! Basically I just want to be able to make gold to supply my main and pure. But would like to run multiple accounts to do that. I guess that is gold farming? Lol!

Genesis will not restrict what you can bot, only how long you may bot. With 3 tiers of subscription, you can bot up to the tier's maximum. They're 6 hours/day, 18/day, or 48/day. You can run as many accounts as you want, as long as the combined total usage per day does not exceed your subscription level.

 

How much is the minimum you must pay, to get any usage?
