    Motivation Problems

I haven't been motivated do much. When I work out I stop after a week to ten days because I think what's the point, then back after a few days- a month, life feels dull because I am limited.

If anyone knows how to feel motivated to constantly do something, then please post it.

Set yourself a goal that you want to achieve so badly. That will motivate you to work towards it.

Think about the end result, this can be applied to almost anything.

When talking about working out. Set S.M.A.R.T (read below) goals and hold yourself accountable for it, Do not drink or eat unhealthy because what you choose to do (or not do) now will affect yourself in the future.

Specific – target a specific area for improvement.
Measurable – quantify or at least suggest an indicator of progress.
Assignable – specify who will do it.
Realistic – state what results can realistically be achieved, given available resources.
Time-related – specify when the result(s) can be achieved.

If you know what you want then you have to push yourself and do it at all times, If I had set a goal to say "I'm going to workout every Thursday" and my girlfriend asks to come over on Thursday I'm going to tell her to fuck off because I need to work out. (try to word it better unless you want to be single)

Try watching some videos before you start your daily routine. I reccomend Eric Thomas.

    1) Do something you want to do and get paid for it if possible.
    2) Get a hobby
    3) Hang out with friends / family

Just get life into order again overall.

For the working out, get a trainer or friend to work out with you. It adds an element of competition and sport that you don't get working out individually until you are more familiar with the process. Additionally, your friend/trainer will push you and won't let you quit.

    Motivation Problems

Hmmm. The best form of motiviation is intrinsic motivation as opposed to extrinsic motivation. In fact, studies show that extrinsic motivation can decrease ones intrinsic motivation to do x; known as the overjustification effect. Don't get me wrong though, there's not too much wrong in taking a hard university course because you want a better paycheck, there's not much wrong with working hard at a new gym program because you want to increase your bench, and there's nothing wrong with working harder at work because you want that promotion. These forms of extrinsic motivation may keep you sufficiently motivated to actually attain the task, but they are not optimal.

Change your personality, change your character, readjust your identity. Take that hard university course, not because it'll give you a better salary, but because you want to, because you can, because nothing is hard to you, salary or no salary. Take new gym programs, not because they'll say increase your bench, but because you can, but because you want to, because it makes you feel good, and even if you plateau, or even if the program doesn't work out, you'll still feel satisfied, bench increase or no. The same can be said for a promotion in a job, or anything. If you still find yourself struggling to stay motivated, then the truth is, it's because you deserve to be where you are. It's because you deserve to fail. That's all because of your personality, character and self-identity.

So, you can either change yourself as a person, or be happy with who, and what you are. I don't know about you though, but I wouldn't be happy with failure.

Setting goals is always a huge thing. Also if you're just referring to working out it has to be something you want to do. But honestly, you should always want to improve yourself no matter what aspect it's in.

Theres lots of ways! First off I suggest downlaoding apps that count your calories and give you motivation to work out when needed. Also look at yourself in the mirrior and see your future :)
