Rare Name Release 2014

I feel like this release could have gone much smoother if the time was unannounced.

 

Still no luck. Got the interface opened. Still "already taken" even though it's not.

 

I find it mildly ironic that "Corrupt" has been taken.

I truly don't understand why I can get to the confirmation screen about 100 times and every single time it instantly gives me the 404 page not found screen? All the names I was hunting for hours are now disappearing.

 

Has anyone had a name be "already taken" - yet doesn't show up on fl or hs or adv log?

And then anyone with that problem finally get a name later on?

Thinking I might just have to give up. Been 3 hours now, and still says it's taken...but nobody has it. Bloody frustrating as hell. I haven't been this annoyed over a video game in ages.

The name would just be really cool for me, personally, but as usual Jagex butchered another implementation.

 

somebody probably sniped it on a new acc and never logged in

 

But this doesn't seem to be the case because:

A: Only members accounts can get the names that have been released.

B: A members account would at least have an adventurers log

C: The account would at least show up when added in-game to the friends list, not say "unable to add player"
