High profile Sythe users have been targeted for skype hackings, and are getting hacked on a weekly basis. There is no way to secure a Skype account fully, which is why you have to have a PM to confirm when trading on Skype.

 

It was after n4n0 got hacked IIRC.

 

According to the rule he should be paid back. You're correct. It is a loop in the rule that should be fixed because reading it seems like he should be paid back. He did everything the rule said.

OT, this is what we have the rules for, the user didnt request a PM. Simple as that. he apparently trades often on this site and should have the common sense to require a PM, especially from a moderator.

 

Leanbean901 and the hacker also do not capitalize the first letters of there sentences and speak similarly notice both use the word "Right" when seeking affirmation. If we are going by preponderance of the evidence it is no doubt that leanbean901 is GUILTY.




Weird also that this hacker has been dead silent in the midst of all of this.

 

Pretty sure this sums it up. Who gets hacked exactly one month after their previous limit was reached? He even said "I'll use another pp". Which shows he has 2 paypals?

As for the claims of how the hacker would have known what his skype is you can see from this report made by Honest Iago about a week ago it does show his skype name "PSY" in the report http://www.sythe.org/report-scammer-archive/1734446-basedrs-scam-report-700-a.html it's not very hard for an experienced social engineer or hacker to target people they see as a potential source of easy cash.

 

I never said I have more than one paypal account. I said I might be able to use another PP. What I planned on doing was asking my ex if I could use hers which didn't work out as we're no longer together.

 

He said "I'll see if i can use another PP"
Which, if you have a brain. is two very different things.

 

It was when there was mass-hackings. It's not the Skype owner's fault they get hacked, so it's not really fair to hold them accountable, in my view anyway.

Are you dumb? When you hear the words "I'll see if I can use another PP", you wouldn't assume they meant making another paypal? And even so, it still isn't his paypal. We don't know if he used the other paypal. use your head bud.

 

I've seen enough here, I must be guilty. Seriously though not trying to make a joke but if you think I'm guilty because I use the word "right" when confirming and sometimes misspell words on skype then you wouldn't make a very good member of jury duty.

 

You realize this would all be over if you maybe had your Email info for your own personal skype? You think a Paypal screenshot is enough evidence to prove you didn't redeem them?

 

I honestly don't care what anyone's opinion on the matter is. I know i'm not to blame and I can sleep without a problem at night knowing anyone who thinks otherwise is just speculating what could of happened.

Just commenting on Dayvid's message. Roary said on the report that he screenshared instead of checking a screenshot. A screenshot wouldn't be sufficient as it can be manipulated way too easy.

 

Great morals you have there. Someone is trying their hardest to attempt to see if you did indeed scam, and you just brush it off. Next time you make a Skype that you expect to do over thousands of dollars of trades with, maybe write down the password that you set for your own email that you made it with? Honest Iago is working with what he has, and you have given nothing. Just a screenshot of your recent paypal activity which proves absolutely nothing.

 

If I was brushing it off I wouldn't waste my time responding to the 100+ speculating posts on this thread. I would just ignore it and hope it goes away like some people (who I won't name) have done in the past.
