First off I didn't write what you quoted, second off I already owned up to how I made myself look like a fool, hence the edits. I never intended to try to explain the whole scenario, and the only reason my argument consisted of the entire "there's no way you could have gotten hacked" is because I felt that the whole situation was handled too casually and wanted further answers (and yes I also just didn't know jackshit about that kind of thing). If I had known what I do now, I would have handled the entire situation differently. That being said, would you or anyone else have known about this if it weren't for my thread? No, I kind of doubt it, and that is all I was seeking to accomplish. The situation got the noticing it deserved and I hope to see it closer scrutinized. Now that I've been educated more by others, all I want is to see Leanbean show that he received the email notifying him of his email being changed. From what I understand, there's NO WAY he could have been hacked in the usual Skype SE if he doesn't have that email.

I think at the very least it calls for a bit further investigation. If there's no email, there was no hacker, at least in the usual way of social engineering through Skype live chat. Seems like it should fall on you to show how exactly your account got compromised if not through those means.

This rule is so pathetic regards to only being responsible for pms on forums.

So, if someone sends a pm and scams off my account I must pay for the damage caused by the hacker.
BUT if MY skype gets hacked and the hacker scams someone that i had already PMED BEFORE FOR VERIFICATION, *poof* nothing must be paid.
And also, i do not believe the coincidence that YOUR skype is "hacked" announcement comes out exactly the day WHEN the "hacker" scammed.

Also what's stupid about this rule is the logic behind it. ANY hacker is SMART ENOUGH to go through the user's vouch thread and see who he traded with. This was he KNOWS that they already pmed them before. and if you try tell me, "oh they're not smart enough" please, if they're smart enough to DOX you and social engineer skype customer support they're SMART enough to check through vouches to avoid pm verification.

but be completely honest. (yes i know multiple gold sellers get banned commonly from social engineering skype support chat)

IF users have to refund what got scammed to people who pmed (aka, his sythe account got hacked to verify trades) WHY does lean NOT have to refund when the person that got scammed had ALREADY verified and traded with him before.
