Dicing on Donator Lounge

My suggestion is for the dicing thread by roary in the Donator Lounge. I think this would be great and prevent scams. I think you should only be able to host the max of what you donated.

So if you donated 5 to sythe you can only host max 5.,, if you donated 500 ur max host would be 500...

Thoughts?

 

Why? A 5$ donor with 1000 vouches cant dice more than 5$? no support. Donations =/= trust

 

Dicing in the Donor lounge should be looked at as a privllege to those who support sythe. If you only donate 5 for helping sythe why should you be able to dice more than 5?

 

If you only donate $5, why should you be allowed to trade more then $5 at a time? No support.

 

Because the dicing thread is exclusive to those who donate only. Trading is open to everyone.

 

I'm saying your logic doesn't make sense. Dicing is like trading, it is your call if you trust them or not. There is no rules on how much you can trade, why should there be a rule on dicing?

 

you can dice everywhere in Sythe.. not only in donor lounge. If they dont dice there, they will find another way xD but yea, if its a privilege to dice in there, every donor should be able to dice there. They all donated and helped the site.

Doing your suggestion .. it looks like Sythe manipulates his donators. "If you wanna dice more, give me your money". No support again

 

No support. Donation amount shouldn't have anything to do with the amount you're able to dice.

 

Please explain why? This would prevent scamming. Who would scam a 25usd bet if they donated 300usd

 

Why should a highly trusted member such as an Administrator with 1000's of quality vouches be unable to dice more than $5 if they're only a $5 donor?

It's not about the logic of preventing scams but the restrictions that you put on everyone else.

You are dicing based on trust, not based on donation status.

And if you take away their privilege of dicing in the donor lounge, they will just dice in the sandbox for more than their donation amount.

 

Who would scam 25 usd if they donated $5 and had $3000 in vouches? The logic here doesn't make sense. Dice with who you trust and no one else.

I already explained but I'll explain again..

First off the thread is only in the donor lounge so it is exclusive to donators only. If donating buys your way into the dicing thread, why cant donating represent your max bet? IF you send 25 dollars for a donation to sythe why would you scam 25 or under dicing?

 

No support. Trust isnt built on donation status. I'm not disagreeing that it wouldnt make sense for a $50 donor to scam $25 in dicing but that has little relevance to the overall trustworthiness of that person.

If you really want to see this rule implemented, you can use it yourself. Make it a rule when youre posting your wager that only $X+ donors can call. Not worth limiting the whole community though

 

Terrible suggestion.

Donation amount does not matter. If you donated, you have full access to the donor lounge. Period, end of discussion. You should not be restricted to what you're allowed to do in the lounge that you were granted access to by donating.

 

If you don't trust someone don't dice them. It's that simple honestly.
