I don't want anyone running in my room to tell me something and they say they saw bestiality and disturbing material. I'm not zoo-phobic it's just weird. There's not a signature with anyone fucking an animal making out why make a forum dedicated to it and some other quite disturbing material?

Shouldn't that count as porn? Like not the eating a tampon part but the one where they're "fucking a dog".

Why are you viewing those viral threads? They are suppose to bring traffic to this site. It doesn't actually show you animal porn.

I should mention that porn/nudity is allowed in the "upper spam forum". Guess that's safe for school/work also and drives traffic to the site, right? Right.

 

Nobody who hasnt been a member for 3 years or 3k posts can see the USF, including you. This dosent affect traffic for the site.

 

It doesn't have to play a part of traffic. Go to your school or work and simply let them read that this site allows -one single thing- that I've mentioned above that is allowed here. Let me know how well it works out.

 

What aren't you getting? That forum has specific rules and restrictions to enter. Anyone outside of that restriction is unable to view it.

You aren't making a good case for yourself.

First you try to compare viewable material to non viewable material. Then you go completely outside the box and bring up the usf.

There is a disclaimer when entering the forum. Anyone who can enter the forum is aware of the content that lies there.

If you're trying to compare the two, well.. You cant.

Signatures can be viewed by EVERYONE. Even guests which Sythe mentioned. Guests can't view the usf.

Guests cannot view USF where the nsfw shit is. The signatures that were nsfw would definitely drive away traffic though.

 

not only that every thread has to be labled nsfw if it contains pron and it has to follow a certain critera of rules.

I read OP and I'm very confused by your logic.

I'm going to show my teacher / boss the graphics section because it's allowed and it's safe for work, or maybe the League of Legends section...

I'm not "Anit WoW" but I think it's weird, therefore we should shut down all WoW sections.

 

Your logic is really flawed, and it's definitely not going to help you get the rule rescinded.

The point of removing the signatures is that they are content that can be considered NSFW shown all across the site without warning to other users. If your signature is NSFW, anywhere you post will have that content displayed, and people will be accidentally opting into viewing it in a potentially sensitive situation (like work) simply by opening the thread containing your post.

As far as your cries (read: whining/attention whoring) about homophobia go, they're irrelevant - they didn't factor into Rich's decision to enact the new rule. Random NSFW content that people are unknowingly going to view is a negative toward the site and its viewership, which is why threads in places like the USF clearly state when their content is NSFW to prevent the potential effect your signatures were having. And that's not to mention the longevity-based requirement(s) to enter the USF, so access to its NSFW bits isn't even an option for quite a large portion of the site's users.

 

The rule WONT be changed.
