Hey moderators, let me try to lay this out plain and simple so it dosent get too confusing I'll post the original posts and rules and then why each of us have a dispute.

I would also like to point out that Unb4nn3d has offered to reroll the two tie rolls, but I believe I have won in this situation.

 

What? If it was highest of 3 rolls and you won 1/3 and he won 0/3 he owes you money? I'm not entirely sure what's up for discussion here.

 

he believes that because we tied on two of the rolls, the end result should be a tie. because the 2/3 ties > my 1/3 win ( he may be able to explain it better i dont exactly get it myself)

I obviously see the ties as mute so my 1/3 win should be a win.

 

I don't agree with the ties being majority. I personally believe that they're neutral and the 2 ties cancel and the one win would be the tie breaker just my opinion though.

I spent hours figuring out a way that would be fair to the both of us. I messaged it to you on Skype and made multiple posts on the thread. You decide to respond to none and post this thread?

In the thread, I state you must get the highest of 3 as individual dice match-ups.
This means you must get the majority win in order to win.

Since you only have 1/3 wins, I posted this as a final resolution.

You've ignored every single thing I've posted on the thread, or chose not to respond to it (for what reason?).

This whole dispute is over a measly 2M OSRS. We don't need a huge dispute blown up regarding it. It's either this way or that.

You didn't get the majority roll.
We need to re-roll both dice.
You have a 75% chance to win / tie.

Your argument is based on 2 other user's opinions (none of your own), that were already disputed and not quoted in the argument?

The two users opinions were the same opinion of my own, You offered me something I'm not going to agree to because I believe won.

I'm not going to take the whole "Take what I give you" spoon fed moderator crap, Entrr summed up perfectly in this thread how I feel.

I made this thread because I don't believe were going to come to an agreement as we are obviously biased parties. This will give the other moderators a chance to weigh in and make a decision.

 

Which I disputed in the thread and you are continuing to ignore.

This is not what I'm doing. What I was asking you to do was actually read everything in the thread I took an effort to do.

I gave a specific interpretation of what my rules were stating, which you also failed to include. Doesn't look like any bias on my side, as if you read through the thread, I've accounted for both parties. You're accounting for your own.

Final resolution: I'll offer a DoN since you don't want to agree to a fair re-roll of the tied dice rolls to get the majority win (75% to win/tie, 25% to lose, which I wasn't going to make you pay).

I did, and I believe I won the dice roll, as well as many other people. Which is why I'm getting second opinions from moderators.

Rules are to be stated before dicing occurs, if it was the same situtaion on your side you would require me to pay up or ban me because you won one and tied on two.

Meaning the people who weren't involved and had posted reasoning which was disputed by me.

Rules were stated. Yes, I'm trying to be completely fair here, so I'd try to screw you over for a minirank if the situation was reversed (sarcasm is heavy).

You haven't won as you didn't get the majority win as individual dice rolls.

I offered you a tie-breaker by re-rolling the two tied dice rolls (75% chance to win/tie, 25% chance to lose), and a DoN on top of that if for some reason you were incredibly unlucky and lost.

I don't see how more fair I can be. Honestly, I don't think you want me to.

Rolls will be highest of 3 out of 30/40/50 (individual roll match-ups).
highest of 3,

1st roll, tie.
2nd roll, tie
3rd roll I win.

Therefore since ties are mute I win.

Open to other moderator opinion, me and Alex sitting here arguing is going to get us nowhere.

 

How do they contradict each other? You provided no interpretation of the explanation I had given.

The people who had actually provided reasoning (not you) was disputed by me.

In a standard dice duel, you are required to win 2/3 (majority), in order to win. Ties made the majority in this instance, which is why I've provided stipulations to resolve this scenario as a 2/3 majority (win/loss) has not been reached.

A double tie does not mean the ties are "mute", as that would "break the rules", per se, of needing a 2/3 majority to win.

I agree with this aswell. Blueskittle won. Never heard of ties being the majority. The third 'tie-breaker' was won by blueskittle. It's really not a complicated issue.
