Looking for, what the title requests.

Nothing too special, nothing shit that will easily break/make dumb sounds and annoy the fuck out of everyone. Something with good sound quality.

    Any suggestions? - Price... meh.

    Edit:

Want something to record myself, talk to friends on teamspeak, listen to music. Just the standard headset.

You have a few options if you're looking for "headsets".

Personally, this is not my field because I prefer a standard headphone with stand/attachable mic.

    But here are some:
Steel Series Siberia V2 (my brother uses them) - I've tried them and thought they were comfortable, but overall not the best quality.

Astro A50's - These are n4n0's headset of choice. You would have to ask him why he likes them. Wireless with a charging cable (so it can be wired). Microphone sounds fine on it.

Astro A40's - Pretty much same as the 50's except wired.

130 pounds is way too expensive for me, i'm looking for a more cheaper-reliable headset.

Siberia V2's. You should be able to find them refurbished. So long as you're cautious around the cable (don't be clumsy). They seem to last for a decent amount of time.

I've got the Siberas. They only cost me like $80 bucks and I like them enough.

I'd go the sennheiser gaming route, excellent sound quality/looks/mic quality compared to others.

I agree. I can't speak to how long they will last but they are comfortable for the first 4-6 hours of work.

I've used Razer and Steelseries BEST headsets.

Astro a40s > everything I have yet to ever used.

Picked them up when the MLG edition first released and will mostly likely never switch brands, they're amazing, their customer support is helpful and their gear works.

You get what you pay for. I have the A50's (Essentially the wireless version of the 40s) and they are the best headset I've ever used.

Comfort is unmatched - Can be worn for periods of 24+ hours straight with absolutely no discomfort (I've even fallen asleep w/ mine on MANY times)
Sound quality is great, definitely nothing to scoff at
    Mic sounds good, very clear.
The wireless is latency free. None. Period. Great for gaming or just standard use
RMA process in the event of a break/failure is painless. Already replaced my headset once due to a crack in the "frame" of the headset.

No I definitely agree but I can't spend massive amounts on everything. If/when my current ones break I'll hopefully have a well paying job and can afford to shop around without caring as much about the price.

That's the price of a refurbished pair of Siberia V2s: The frost series specifically.

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...49126&cm_re=Siberia_V2-_-26-249-126-_-Product

Let me warn you now though: With headsets, you really do get what you pay for in most cases. And I would really tend to tell most to stay away from Turtle Beaches - two headsets broken from them because of cheap design.

This headset is amazing, I was really not convinced at first when I saw the price tag, I figured they either had terrible sound quality or would break in a month. Suprisingly i've had it for about 5 months now and its the clearest headset i've had. It also has a nice snug fit to your head. I once stepped on a pair and the owners gave me a full refund and resent me one with the free 1 year warrenty i got it for. For $20 its a steal and i HIGHLY recommend it. http://www.ebay.com/itm/USA-Sades-7...US_Computer_Headsets&var=&hash=item4ad4e04063

I really enjoyed using the Logitech H800 headset. They're normally $100, but I see quite a few sales going on right now. Prices seem to vary day by day, but I saw a pair for $50 from a reputable dealer not long ago.

I have a pair that are literally just sitting in my house right now because of the enormous clamping force and the fact that they're on-ear and not over-ear. These headphones actually hurt my ears if I have them on for more than an hour or two. The sound-staging is mediocre at best... They just do not provide anything enjoyable to a headset for me.
