College soon anyone?

Not sure about others, but alot of people will be going to college this year.
Any big colleges?

Going on my second year in September. I didn't find there was as big of an adjustment as everyone claims

 

Its not really different if you live at home

 

Senior in high school this year, sucks, but meh.

 

Actually going to be done in December. I'm super excited to be done but it is also super scary how fast time is going.

What are you going to study?

 

I know someone who goes to that university. I, personally, did not find the movement from one traditional secondary school, to university, hard at all.

 

I'll be going to Johns Hopkins in August.

 

Biology- Pre Med

 

Im headed to Rutgers Business School in September.

 

Yea. I came in with 12 credit and I am just taking an extra class to make up for it to graduate early. No reason not to. Save a shit ton of cash.

 

Going to college in September to study electrical engineering, bit of a change in direction from psychology.

 

Do you have to take any programming classes?

 

Nope, thank goodness. All physics/maths/mechanical.

 

Just finished semester and I'm pretty much dead / post exam blues. Should maintain high grades though.

When I went from highschool to university I didn't find the switch all that difficult. For anyone starting soon, I'll make a bit of an anecdote: from what I've seen people that find it difficult are the ones that try to see university as if it were the same as highschool and thus can't readily adapt to a new system. Others skip classes because they think they don't have to go and then wonder why they failed or did poorly. Others simply don't study. I guess the key thing to keep in mind is why you're going to university in the first place; is it just for a piece of paper / your degree, or is it because you want to be there to learn?
