Better gaming ps4 or xbox 1? - help

Hi guys i'm looking to buy a console, i'm going to be using to to mostly play cod and watch movies, I was wondering which you guys preferred is better and offers a better experience, would appreciate the help! Thanks ;d

 

I have a PS4 + Xbox One.

Honestly, haven't been impressed with any of the "new gen" stuff. As far as games are concerned, it really comes down to preference. Take a gander at the exclusive list for both and see which ones adhere more to your tastes.

Money isn't an issue anymore, as you can get a kinect-less Xb1 for the same price as a Ps4, and the kinect is basically pointless so I'd say you can go without it.

If you're big on movies, you may just be better off getting a 360 or Ps3 tbh, if CoD is the only game you're looking to play (and none of the exlusives ps4 or xb1 offers).

Xbox is probably the better media hub, as it's almost just as much of a cable box as it is a console. As far as exclusive games go, Xbox One's have impressed me more thus far, but that's because my tastes usually side with Microsoft.

So, just do your research. Though for what you want to do, why not a 360 or Ps3? Or are you looking to upgrade?

 

If your looking for media centred go with xb1 ps4 will outscale Xbox in the long run for games

 

Both consoles have garbage games at the moment... That all changes when Halo comes out on X1 though dam Halo 2 and 3 re-made it's going to be fucking awesome.

 

Ps4 is a beast xb1 gets so boring after few days

get the xbox one, got to support the people that brought us halo 1,2, and 3!

 

Levy which has better exclusives and ask your friends what they have. Gaming with friends is always more fun.

 

Thanks for the posts from everyone as well, I'm looking into this myself. I really wish they'd just cross-platform multiplayer already, but then everyone would lose money except us:/

 

I have a ps4 and honestly I wouldn't recommend buying it yet
Still very little games out for it and with each game costing €60 and very little 2nd hand games you'll end up with a little amount of games!
Also it's €50 a year for online now!

Movie wise it works good for netflix and DVDs but a lot of other cheaper devices(Apple TV for example) can give the same expierience

 

"Destiny" is the reason I'm being urged to purchase.

 

PS4's hardware out performs Xbox One, and once game developers push the consoles limits like Rockstar did with GTA V, the PS4 is the better in that aspect.

But media use etc definitely go with the Xbox One.

 

PC master race. Console spec comparison is pointless for the most part. It all boils down to those few exclusives.

 

So far, the exclusives to both have been less than adequate to justify the money for an entirely new system. I've used my Xbox one half a dozen times since November..it's sickening.

 

This, doubt they will be worth a purchase for another 2 years or so. Regret my purchase for sure.

 

If your going for cod, then i'd recommend xbox, a lot more lively with pretty much everyone having a mic. Making it easy to fuck with 12 year olds

 

I prefer the ps4, but if you are just using it for cod then the Xbox one is better as Microsoft make sure Xbox get all the updates first when new things are brought out on cod. Another point is that if you ever want to go into the competitive side of call of duty then that is all done on the Xbox ~ hope this helped

 

If you are mainly going to be playing cod and watching movies the Xbox one should be perfect you as the updates always come out sooner on the Xbox one for cod as stated above. Also the cod graphics are amazing on the Xbox if the graphics matter to you.

I would say Xbox One I find it better than PS4.
