Pvp drops , a good or a bad update ?

What you think guys , do jagex should add pvp drops to oldschool and what would be the consequences?
*When I'm saying pvp drops I mean when you die in pvp you loose all your items and the opponent get's a random loot depending on EP , DP and the amount you loose.*

 

No thanks, it will cause inflation and there are bound to be glitches waiting to be abused.

 

Won't happen, easy way for people to make money with minimal effort and would generate a lot of items into the game that would bring prices down.

Ghast pointed it out, inflation because of EP boosters would greatly diminish the price of gold and value of it. when i used to ep boost it was pretty obviously this was happening to the community.

 

So gold price will go down and items prices will go up ?

No , items prices will go up like whips and others because you loose more whips in game than you win if a pvp drop system is added , it's like in 2011

 

I really would not like to see this implemented. I remember pvping in rs when this update came into play and i really did not enjoy it one bit.

 

But then there are more items in game. Causing people to sell for less to get their item sold before all the others. This how economics work

 

I misread the op. Item prices will go up if the ep tricks are removed.

 

I did enjoy the uncertainty of receiving random drops back when PvP drops were in normal RS, but it really did fuck up the economy.

This would be a horrible idea because the system would be abused, plus the PvP items were stupidly overpowered. And if they didn't add new drops, more people would ditch PK'ing because it would become an even worse money sink where profit is already hard to find.

 

No, this is not a good update, and you won't see it happen. That system was only implemented to attempt to play around the trade limit.

There's no need to do that now.

 

What is the point of 07scape if they make the game different?

 

Hell no, that would be a terrible idea. We had to deal with it in RS3 because there was no wildy, but we have wildy, no need to screw up pvp worlds or ever think of implementing that system

 

Honestly, in 2011, Runescape did that mistake, many people did not like the fact that it was like that. However the target + EP is very interesting! In my opinion it should only give a bonus loot to the loot the person should be getting in reality. This would not only help people make money but make the wilderness much more active, since money can be made.
