Is this really how this is handled?

When making rational and pivotal decisions such as pardons/disputes, all personal grudges need to be put aside and big boy pants put on and truly see if they're a danger to the site.

I see too many times of the mods taking it too heart when deciding on a pardon/dispute and act like they just got cheated on by their old ex-bf/gf.

 

Did not even release personal info with that either.

 

In addition, when someone is close with staff or even in a relationship with someone on staff, they're going to get those extra perks. That's how it is and most people should accept that. That's how it is in the world, it's now what ya know but who ya know. And I'm afraid Sythe is that way too.

No he isn't. And I'm not sure you were aware of how bad it got, I even heard a rumor that someone rang up his dad or something. I mean really? That's like 4chan behaviour.

 

Didn't hear of that, so i can't judge on that. I think he should've been punished, yes. But i don't think he should've been banned this long and like this. He's not a threat to the site.

 

Hattez did not ring up his father however. Why are you trying to use him as a scapegoat in this? Reference only what he did, which was little in the grand picture.

 

Just because the pardons aren't closed prematurely doesn't mean the worst of offenders would be let back, does it?

If there's reasoning to veto a pardon or separate some pardons from others then the information and reasoning should be passed to staff and they should be allowed to use their judgement and vote.

 

It doesn't matter what someone is thinking in their head to anyone else because they aren't aware what they're thinking about.... Hattez didn't scam anyone and realistically didn't do anything that bad except for trolling but he's still getting harsher treatment than vaders/scammers

Anyhow, hattez should get a fair treatment, and nano should stop taking it too personal (even though he's banned for something having to do with him). It's not because it happened to him that he gets to veto, if that'd be the case, no one ever would get pardoned.

I think it is insane that another admin don't even know what is going down. Again, we have to wonder why things don't get done around here anymore.

 

Situation has been resolved.

If the banned parties do not make restitution to trin/ryan then they are not eligible for a pardon. Until they are eligible ryan has single veto power.
