User Titles suggestion!

If this has been suggested very sorry, I have looked around and it is for surely not in DNS list.

A way to make it so you could use or switch between old User Titles.
Basically you could switch between maybe 2-3 user titles that would just be stored in the same place where you request new ones, this way you can still cycle between a few even while waiting for a new one too be accepted.

Some people may not see it necessary, however just a nice little perk you could throw in like at $100 you get 2, at $150, 3 or something like this.

 

I know this might have been denied for atleast a 1000 times but I really wish I could change my own title into something else just for a short time and afterwards change it to something else or just put it back what it was before. Anyway it's just a little anoying to wait atleast a week for your user title gets aproved. I totally understand that Mathew is busy irl but this has to get changed.

Perhaps it should also be added that one can have it so that it rotates between a few as a donor feature, similar to how donors can have multiple UIs? Just a thought.

 

I was going too throw this in as well, seems easy enough if we can already do it with UI's you are right.

I see no reason why not to do this, and there's more incentive so sure, support.

 

I can see myself using this feature all the time, and it would be very nice to not have to go through the process of approving it every time.

Don't see why you couldn't just have a history of previous titles to switch between. More, reasonable perks isn't a bad thing.

 

I support either suggestion mentioned.

Either

a) Switch between up to a couple old UT's that have already been approved instantly.

or

b) At a higher donation rank instantly change your own UT without approval, if its inappropriate for whatever reason it can reported and an infraction/twc or whatever dealt out as necessary. There doesn't seem to be any special reason that it needs to be approved, since you could just as easily lie in your post as in your ut.

Custom ones need to be approved because they can contain HTML which can distort the site but the 25$ donor one isn't a big deal - just have censored words like mod, staff and so on.

To be honest we could just have a custom UT request thread in the Donor Lounge that I could approve and change just as quickly if not quicker

 

That's a good point about the html, maybe you could change your ut to basic text while you wait on an html one pending.

That's also true, and something that I've suggested already. I've said already that there should be an access point for globals+ to approve or deny user titles without actually getting into the acp. Just in the user center they can approve/deny them with a press of a button. I do agree a donor lounge thread would be alright though if you're willing to do it.

 

I like what Jack Goff said, alternating User Titles like UI's. Just make it so those automated-alternating user titles can't have fancy html or something(?), and it would be your choice to have 2 or 3 alternating simple user titles, or once fancy html one?

on topic i support even though i dont have the ability to do it but i do understand how painful it prob is.

 

Great suggestion! I would use this perk. Its annoying to request the change of the user title to the one you had before and wait a week for that change to be done.

Fantastic suggestion. I don't know why we haven't had a topic in the donor lounge instead of waiting for approval.

I like the idea of storing a few and allowing them to rotate (if needed).
