Your Best Runescape memory?

1. When back in 08 when I was at the duel arena and i friendly staked someone who wanted me to let him win the duel and he said he would give me full steal if i did.... He gave me full steel and I was one of the happiest kid alive!

2. Back in 2010 i had around 1m bank and i was standing at the g.e... someone in full bandos traded me 18m cash which then i bought dragon platebody plate legs and a gnome scarf!!!

I have so many amazing memories of runescape as i have been playing for 6 years!!!

I remember my first ever time on runescape I went to sign up back in 08 and i was 9 and i signed up and it said something like 'your not old enough to play' which i then cried. Later on I lied about my age and then started tutorial island but couldn't get past making a fire hahaha which i then cried..... My uncle helped me though

 

Also when 07 came out.... Just hearing that music as it is loading up!!!! <3<3<3

 

I've got quite alot of memories...

1) When I did the Dragon Slayer Quest for the first time, @Elvarg someone outside was like "Take off your anti-dragon shield, it will make you hit better!"... you can guess... he enjoyed taking my loot :S
2) Reaching my first green cashpile by merchanting lobstersss
3) Met someone at the lesser demon inside Wizard's Tower in 2006.. 8 years later we are still friends

I begged for 25k and got a blue partyhat.... then I gambled it and woke up in a mental asylum the next day.

 

Actually, getting a free runeplate body in Runescape Classic during my first 2 weeks of playing. I was in Year 5 at this time I believe...2001 some time.

 

I remember my favorite color is Green, so upon playing, I wanted Adamant armor.

Addy was 30k, and Rune was 200k.

My friend had given me full rune for free as part of a starter kit. I quickly said "trading rune for addy" , not knowing the prices.

I ended up getting really lucky, and getting full Addy (G) for full Rune. Turns out Addy G was 300k . I got so lucky lol. 30k for 200k turns into 200k for 300k.

I found a santa hat from the ground.

 

A friend of mine found a Yellow Partyhat, a guy died to one of those fish troll randoms or w/e it was back in the day (this was circa 2005 or 2006). It was at the fishing guild and I don't remember how many people he said were there. I'm sure he probably had to click faster than a few people to claim it.

 

1) Achieving 99 strength (my first 99)
2) First time pking an ags
3) Was at a friends house, and this was in I think 08 when bounty hunter was around. He ended up pking full rune and we both flipped the fuck out like we had just pked 1b or something.

 

Adding to my post on page one:
-I once bought a purple for 1.1m eyes of newt... lol
-Bought a yellow for 140m and resold for 160m not two minutes later . North fally wall phat merching ftw

 

Selling black(g) platebody in 2005, to the general store in varrock to reach my first 1k cash stack.

I got the platebody from trading someone gold gloves i think.

 

Wow, for the time 20M is a HUGE profit. Probably like 200M's worth profit today at least.

I have two that stand out the most. The first was buying my first whip. I camped the chaos druids near Ardy for I dunno how long gathering un-ids and selling them. Eventually I made the 3.3m I needed and I bought the whip. I was the first among my group of friends to get one. The best part is I still have that whip. I never bought another, nor sold the one I bought. I turned it into a white whip when barbarian assault came out, and subsequently a vine whip later, which prevented it getting mixed up with abby demon drops. That was 2005, so almost 10 years with the same whip

The second is when I got a steel dragon task. It was the first time I felt confident enough to actually fight them so I was nervous and excited at the same time. Anyway, I finished killing them all and had some supplies left over so I decided to kill an iron dragon, my very first iron dragon, for the lulz. What was the drop? Dragon plate legs. Sold them for about 2m, which was a lot for me at the time.

 

Dang! , You had that whip for that long? I really miss the good o'l days hate the new whip animation now.

 

This was really cool for me too. I'd forgotten about it.

 

Forgot to add this. Getting a Visage on a steel dragon slayer task. Was so damn happy, i kept it in my bank for like 2 weeks before turning it into a dfs and selling it

 

I've had my first Red Partyhat since 07 . Unfortunately, the rl friend I got it from died of a heroin OD this winter :'( .

So now I'll definitely keep it.
