who says RS doesnt help IRL - just won £10K m8

When you think about it, there is a lot of random info in it

but still awesome haha, and yeah, I've found a lot of the knowledge in RS has become useful for me IRL in different ways.

 

^^ This is very true in the most random things, I can hardly think of an example now but a ton of "terminology" used in RS is also used in real life, and a ton of skilling methods as well are the same in RL.

 

In some ways ye it does help a lot of times its rlly random to me haha but that's quite funny

 

I found it to make me exceptionally quick with mathematics, with the days sat in falador merching things haha..

 

Of course Runescape helps in real life.

Seeing as Runescape themselves got half of their implementations from things in the real world.

 

You have to be retarded to not know that question, even if you don't play rs.

 

Just reminded me of Scape. There have been a few occasions when watching game shows I've known the answer for definite because of RS

yeah but on the whole rs is completely pointless in terms of educational value, the time spent play rs, most people could read books and become a heck of a lot smarter.

LOL Rs has helped me in so many ways... I know so much stuff because of RS thats helped me irl. Not 10k tho ;p

 

In the early days of school I remember RS knowledge occasionally helping me remember some stuff that was in the back of my mind somewhere...things like which fish are fresh or salt water

 

agree lol - not to mention I improved my english writing with RS

 

Haha. That's a good one. But really, I think if you learn merchanting it can translate over to business skills.
