    Recovery scam- I Mark I

Basically I have been blatantly scammed, both the account and the email linked to the account were recovered. Both were provided by the seller and I hold the seller and only the seller responsible (not previous owners of the account) as will be shown in the screenshots.

    Seller's Sythe profile link: http://www.sythe.org/members/223859-i-mark-i.html
Vouches if they were exchanged: N/A was waiting for a while until vouch
    Original selling thread: http://www.sythe.org/characters-lev...in-account-shop-trusted-5yr-sythe-member.html
    Proof of payment: http://gyazo.com/bd3ab4aac97db636a5408bdf830ef7c9
Proof of contacting seller: The advertised skype: http://gyazo.com/25454e3b5179d8fd84da7333342ecf66
Skype profile ID & conversation pictures:
    http://gyazo.com/45bded9025ed9cc6d8d49ca3ed71297e
    Any other relevant trade screenshots:
Email to the account was given and the password (of which I changed)
    http://gyazo.com/51ee617b850ecb159c9cdfab16e1035b
Proof of That being the email
The recovery email for the account that I did not realise was there:
    http://gyazo.com/ad408f83a9c83609a24a466373520002
Mark recomending that i do not change the email for a few days because of IP...
    http://gyazo.com/27352115b96cdbfe43303800156855d0
The password for the account was changed, I had not tried to access the account for at least a week so I did not catch it during the "account is locked" phase

If any additional information is required then I will be more than happy to provide it. There is no possible way for both the email linked to the account and the RS account both having their passwords changed without the seller scamming.

Edit: I do not wish to share information such as the account name and password on a public thread but can provide that information via PM to the moderator responsible for sorting this.
Edit: I also conversed with the user about swapping the account as I wasn't too happy with it. the user was helpful until a point at which he stopped replying (screenshots can be provided if necessary)
Edit: The email provided is no longer the recovery email for the account
Final edit: allmost forgot the most important bit, the PM :p http://gyazo.com/b369362302d6bfabc7e810c3239e5fec

    Recovery scam- I Mark I

http://puu.sh/8Rg94.png the entire "Recent activity of the email " He logged in on the 28th, changed the password. Today he put the wrong passowrd 6 times because he wants a refund for an account he's tired of playing perhaps. I saw the report, recovered the email and reset the password on the account. And clearly they record passwords being changed. lol.

http://puu.sh/8Rgaz.png proof this guy is a total idiot and just put the wrong password on purpose 5 times to get a refund because he didn't like it and he just changed the email pass.

http://puu.sh/8RgcR.png Me on the recovery email recovering the email

http://puu.sh/8Rgjd.png Me on uncannybabe's email the inbox

http://puu.sh/8RgAL.png the best picture, he said he didn't access it for a week.. Clearly he's been playing almost everyday.

I tell every buyer about the risks of making too many changes quickly to an account from a foreign IP, that's nothing new.
Sorry bud, you can't just try to get a refund by pretending to get scammed once you feel you're done with the account.
I'm out. Anyone need anything else let me know. Once this is over I'm filing a scam report on benjamham on sythe, or if this could all be dealt with in this investigation that'd be great.

    Recovery scam- I Mark I

This is that I mark I gave.
He may be correct that the account has been accessed numerous times in the last few weeks but this was not me accessing the account.
Also he does not explain why he recovered the recovery email (which was the reason that I started a dispute instead of talking to the user first)
I do not know how to reiterate that the account was not accessed by myself
The user seems to think that I am looking for a refund (which I was not asking for) and seems to have been very smart in whatever they are doing.
I was unhappy with the account and wanted to either refund or swap for another account (screenshots can be shown) in the meantime I bought another account on a separate forum and did not log onto Uncannybabe for a considerable amount of time. I was considering selling the account and went to check on it, found that the password was incorrect so I went to log onto the recovery email and found that the password for that had also been changed (I was 100% certain about that because I had the password recorded in a notepad).

Whatever the situation I just want the account and this to be over, however mark seems rather annoyed that I have caused trouble but now that he has shown the xp gained over the last few weeks, I know for sure that somebody else has had access to the account (because I have not gained any xp on it)

well mark seems to be sure that I am trying to get a refund (which I am not). I have not enquired about any of the account details as I expected that handing over the details as soon as possible would be the usual behaviour that I expected of somebody as helpful (or so it seemed) as mark but he has changed his usual helpful attitude and has not attempted to provide me with the details for the account.

Mark, you need to either get him the account back, or if that isn't possible, refund him for the account. However, I'd like you to get him the account first, and if you can't and you claimed this account was your own, you will receive a TWC.

If it ends up being a refund and Ben has proof that there was items/wealth on the acc, you will be liable.

There has been no response from the other user, but I have only just directly asked for the account details. The user did not claim the account was his own and there was no considerable wealth on the account (I did pay for membership however)

    In response to the the response mark has posted;
I have high end antivirus and am very careful with the files that I download etc..
The recovery email for the account was not changed from the provided email address whilst the account was in my possession.
Me being hacked is a very unlikely explanation of why this account is no longer in either of our possession
If the email linked to the account was changed then their would be a "confirm email change" in the inbox, otherwise the account would still be linked to the email shown by mark.
I can provide evidence that I have bought and been active on a separate account if it would help with my appeal?
Some genuine confusion over how somebody else has gotten access to the account because there has been no "confirm change of password" emails to the email address, no "confirm email change" email to the email address but yet somebody has access to the account. If somebody with a little more knowledge of this could make sense of it, I would appreciate it.
At the end of the day somebody that isn't me is on the account, and I find it extremely strange and if mark can help then I would appreciate it and if mark is responsible then I would appreciate him repaying me either the account or the equivalent.
This is not a personal attack on mark nor is it an attempt to scam, I am trying to get back into my possession what I have paid for.

Also monitoring the adventure log of the account I suspect that whomever is on the account is botting (going up considerable divination levels) so I would like the account to be recovered before it is banned, otherwise I know exactly what will happen with this dispute.

I also have the exact day that I purchased an account from the forums and stopped going on this account. The xp gains also correspond to this date, the account then started gaining xp 3 days later, from that point I had not tried to accessed to the account until the beginning of this scam report.
I can give access to a mod to the user of another account that I purchased to show that I have been playing on another account instead.

Edit: the only possible explanation i can think of at the moment is accessing the account through facebook association (don't know if you can change the password this way though)
