    EDIT: This has been fixed, all of my affected orders are now in my Cash Balance. Shout out to Jake for getting this fixed (AKA PlayerAuctionsPR).


    To anyone with orders around May ~14th - there was a bug on PA specifically on orders where the buyer did not confirm after delivery, therefore resulting in a 3 day period before disbursement.

    What you may find is that some of the orders show that the order was closed unsuccessfully and the buyer fully refunded. Normally these orders are automatically closed & disbursement paid after 3 days if the buyer forgets to confirm.

    Look out for orders that look like this:

    I had 6 orders affected by this. I'm still checking my order history for more. These orders were not added to my PA balance or disbursed to me. I noticed some money missing and after about 30 minutes of investigating I found this. PA did not send out a warning regarding this as far as I'm aware.

    Seems other people having this same issue and that is unacceptable if you're missing money. Hopefully any Sythe member of playerauctions can let us know what's going on.

    Had the same problem, they said I would get paid on Monday since nothing is manually processed on weekends.

    After contacting PA about this issue, were they able to resolve it for you?

    Also, it's no wonder they didn't send out a notice regarding the situation as this is their mistake and money out of their pocket, which I'm sure they won't be too eager to pay.

    Hi all,

    Apologies for the lateness in appearing here. I've been in meetings all day regarding this, hunting down exactly where the issue was, and we've discovered what happened. Arcus was the one who first reported the issue to management (thanks mate).

    In our efforts to improve process, we had noticed that some game account orders were taking too long to close effectively in specific situations where we were manually terminating after a 72 hour period. We made a fix to our backend to automate this process which was deployed into production environment this past Friday (our normal deployments are Tuesday & Thursday).

    Unfortunately with this release, a bug was introduced which affect all orders where the buyer does not confirm delivery.

    The text which displays the buyer receiving a refund is false. These orders are terminated (correctly) in our backend as they should as "Delivery Completed", and this resulted in some initial confusion at first when I came to the office on Monday.

    We've now correctly identified the issue and have deployed an emergency hot fix into the system which should have this issue patched up by Thursday.

    For all of those orders affected... we have extracted all of these orders are going in and manually closing them one by one (a laborious task, but necessary). This has affected about 12.5% of the total orders that have gone through PA since last Friday.

    I will be sending out a system notification to all users tomorrow when I am back in the office.

    For the record, I, nor any of the other honest, hard working individuals at PA, appreciate this kind of inflammatory rhetoric which insinuates we are all a bunch of thieves, brigands, and vagabonds (this is true only for those of us in the office who enjoy roleplaying in MMO's):cool:.

    I'll agree that sure, PA has a few issues it could iron out, but come on man you MUST be overexadurating!
    I'm sure tens of thousands of people use PA and I've never seen a complaint such as yours on any forums I visit.

    People have a few gripes here and there, maybe one or two bad instances, but overall people highly suggest/recommend PA to others.
    However I do understand any anger about THIS SPECIFIC situation.

    How exactly did they scam you, can you explain this situation better?

    I stopped using PA after they refunded the buyer although he confirmed getting the gold. They even gave me negative balance for the order so ftw :)

    Asked for a refund but all I recieved was the removal of negative balance. They claim that you are 100% safe when you sell on their site and follow the guidelines, but it seems as they have a long way to go. Also sent them video proof of trading the buyer. Maybe you should man up and give me the refund, cheers!

    Shoot me the order ID mate, and I will look into it. According to the order status, the result should be reversed. I'll need to look into it to see what exactly happened.

    At this point, you're claims have crossed the international boundaries of... laughable ...at best. It is an entertaining movie script idea, with no verifiable data that includes a business (us) who extended the invitation to look into it and make it right. Nothing more.

    It's been fun, but peace out mate! :)

    fyi: I run the product. There is no one within the office above me to whom this gets escalated.

    (Anyone else found this ridiculous?)

    Just a quick note to everyone.

    We released the bug patch to the production environment a day earlier (go us) and so the issue should be resolved starting from today.

    Additionally, all of the affected orders between Friday - Tuesday where all manually processed closed within one day (go us again). You should be able to see the updated statuses for those orders, and they all are in the disbursement queues.

    Thank you to everyone who reported the issue and who provided a good amount of info for us to be able to identify and squash le'bug.

    Just ignore TradeFortress. He clearly wants to argue and simply constantly pass slanderish remarks, opposed to settle his issue (if even true), like civilised people via PM.

    The fact that PA are still operating successfully, have far far far far more positive feedback and reputability than negative speaks for itself. Sure, mistakes and human errors occur, it by no means makes them (PA), our enemy if said issue(s) aren't rectified within minutes.
