Finished up my new build the other day

 

This are the specs for my 2 year old laptop which I bought for 499€

 

Hah guess that's true.
I like the height of this monitor though. The resolution is a bit weird, but it's not like I care that much for the big bucks I have to pay for 2 decent monitors and 1 television.

I don't really play that much pc, and when I do, this GPU does me nicely.
If I get some extra cash I'd probably upgrade my CPU first, then splash some cash on a new GPU/2 GPU's.

Bought a asus gaming laptop, regret not building my own desktop.
Laptop seems extremely hot for just torrenting :S

 

seems normal to me, 50-60°C are ok, is that idle?

 

Phenom II X6 1040T with an R9 280X? Can you say biggest bottleneck in history?

All the devs at my company have this PC, it's a modified HP z420, pretty good for VM work and processor heavy applications.

Bought a retina 15" MacBook Pro for my college needs. A little sad that I couldn't get a desktop rig, but that will come soon enough hehe

It's actually quad channel. 4x4GB sticks.

SLI is disabled because I run 120hz refresh rate on my BenQ. Can't utilize SLI with varying refresh rates. causes tearing.
