New York!!!!!!

hey guys,
im form the uk im going on a business trip to new york but its ending up im getting a week of free time whilst im there i was wondering what is good there to do if you have any tips and tricks good places to go and to eat ect

Go downtown, or uptown. NY is great, i'm sure you'll have a good time .

 

You will have no trouble finding things to do, just look around where you're staying. If you're into tourist stuff just pick up a brochure there or something.

 

I live in NYC , Really nice but many people think its about the city. You can do many more things and visit but visit Manhattan at night!

 

Manhattan is where you want to go. Go to broadway at night, there is a lot to do and see.

 

I live in NYC as well. Moving from the Bronx to Manhattan later this month.

Do all the touristy stuff that you have to do your first time in the city. In addition to that, I recommend checking out the High Line. It's an above ground rail way that was closed and is now a park. It's a really nice walk and gives you some cool views of the city.

Lastly, most people either go to the top of the Empire State Building or to the "Top of the Rock" (30 Rockefeller Plaza). Most people prefer Top of the Rock, partially because you can see the Empire State Building from it, which you obviously can't well from the ESB.

Visit the museums, they're almost all excellent. Try a whole bunch of different restaurants while you're in town. I don't eat out in the city too, too often, but my favorites have been:
1) Grand Sichuan (46th and 9th), which is a ~24-seat Chinese place that is very, very cheap, authentic, and good.
2) Fogo (there's only one), which is a churrascaria. All you can eat meat and salad bar. Pretty expensive though. ($60 for dinner before drinks and tax)

 

make sure u visit the 9/11 memorial!

 

If you have the money, go to a Rangers play off game <3

 

I would recommend this, its really worth it, im sure youll enjoy it even if youre not into hockey
