More options for Ignored Users/User tagging

Honestly I didn't even know we had ignore lists until I read your post. I don't see how this adds anything that we currently need. If someone owes you $20, you should be able to remember it without having to tag them. You can tag their Skype display names if you really want to rename them.

 

The ignore feature is broken because you can see what the ignored user says if he or she has been quoted by another user. That needs to be fixed before anything.

 

I see it as desirable, if you have some retarded troll following all of your threads and posting stuff that's kind of messed up. Even if it isn't technically spam, all you see is "x user is ignored" so they could be talking total shit about you on your thread. If I ignore someone, its someone I absolulutely despise. I don't want them posting on my shit, I don't want to see their name, and I don't want PM's from them. Ignore list should be like they don't exist for you.

I'd support the ignore list doing more.

That is beside the point, the suggestion was an addition to the ignore feature. I was giving input on that. If I ignore a user I don't care to hear from them, and I don't care for them to be able to post on my threads. That's how it works in many other places, so it is reasonable to suggest it here.

Now I doubt something like this would be implemented a) because the staff dislike ease of use suggestions for some reason and b) because it may impact trading/market stuff somehow/being able to keep people leaving bad reviews on your thread. Even so I still like the idea, and if it was put into place I'd use it.

 

You'd use it, mhm, just don't see it being widely used is all. Plus, as you say, could be somewhat restricting.

 

Everyone has the right to post on what ever thread they wish, if they are spaming you market threads, just report them, if they are posting on your Sf threads, stay the fuck out of the SF.

If they are messing with you its prob for a reason, stop being lil cunts to people if you arn't ready to be attacked back.
